I love luminess airbrush and have used it forever. When my last system that I had for 5+ years called it quits, I replaced it with this one. Was excited about the compact design of this one. After 2 months it was dead. I contacted the seller about it, and the response was “sorry, no returns over 2 months.” I know these machines should last a long time if you take care of them, so this one was a dud. When I responded letting them know it was defective and this wasn’t a case of “changed my mind,” they ignored it. I’ll be buying direct from luminess from now on. ... show more

I'm not a big make up person so I thought this system would be great for me. Then I applied the make up. Talk about stiff, film, that made me look way older than I am. I wanted to be fair and researched these problems because I waited a few years to try this product out. They do make a primer, but each tiny bottle costs quite a bit. I can't justify the price of the system and then have to buy a bunch of other crap to make it feel and look good. I just sent it back. My eyes NEVER looked so wrinkly and skin has NEVER felt so caked. I even started over a few times to make sure it wasnt me. Also it may sit on top of wrinkles but I personally think it emphasizes the wrinkles. I dont have many, but I smile a lot and when I changed expressions it looked like I was breaking a mold! To each their own and this product is just not the one for me. I didnt expect it to feel like nothing at all was on my skin, but at least expected it to feel and look the way it has been advertised. ... show more

Makeup and colors are nice and seem to be good quality. However, the equipment takes some real time and effort to learn how to use properly. It is not as easy to apply as it looks and takes a lot longer to do than regular makeup.
