Since I was once a teenager (albeit long ago) I was terrified of the idea of using oil on my face. On the other hand, in the winter dryness I was willing to give it a shot. This smells subtly delicious, is super light (cup your palm, pour into your palm, rub hands together keeping fluid in between, put on) and feels great on your skin - not too thick, not at all greasy. Definitely brightens dull winter skin! If there is a drawback, it’s that this is super light - can leak out of your hands if you are not careful. Overall I prefer how light it is compared to other oils that felt claustrophobic on my skin. I use daily, even when not making up.

I've been using Lumene Vitamin C products since I was 24 years old. I'm 40 yrs old now. I tried it first with a cotton swab. I see better results when applied to hand and rubbing on my face. My face immediately glowed and felt moisturized right away. I believe this line of product kept my face looking healthy, young, and wrinkle free. I have the whole collection of lumene vitamin C.

I really like this product. I use as a toner following cleansing and apply with a cotton pad. I follow up with serum and face cream from the Lumene line. I find the citrus scent to be very nice. I get lots of compliments on my skin.

I use this liquid on my face after cleansing. My skin feels moisturized and literally glows. It also provides a moisture base for makeup.

Lumenessence Brightening Lotion is a nice, mild toner from Lumene, one of the most underrated skincare lines available. Applied with a cotton pad (I prefer Swisspers Premium Rounds myself), there’s no astringent feel, burning or stinging. I use it as a toner but it CAN be used as an essence and patted in post-cleansing. It’s mild enough to be used morning and night. Used regularly, it leaves skin clear & bright. It smells pleasant and feels refreshing. However, I'm not sure I can tell any significant glow going on even after weeks of use.

I first discovered this brand at target and everything I've tried from them has been gold. This beauty lotion it no different! My skin looks instantly brighter when I use it and it smells SO refreshing in the morning. It's a beautiful citrus scent. I love lumene's packing and this product is packed full of beautiful ingredients. I use it after cleansing and I either dab a little on a cotton pad or a pour a little in my hand and gently tap it into my skin. I then usually follow up with serums, moisturizer, and then spf. I usually use it in the morning however you can use it at night too. I've tried 5 products from Lumene's Valo line and 2 from their Hydra line and I'm always impressed. I wish their full product range was available on Amazon though. I'll definitely be repurchasing this once I run out.
