I had a really hard time justifying spending this amount for leggings. I made fun of others that did. One of my coworkers wears Lululemon leggings every day - they are still solid black, no piling, and she's had them for 4 years. I took the leap and I LOVE these leggings! They are so soft, they breathe, yet they are thick enough to smooth out any lumpy areas. Best of all, pet fur doesn't stick to them like my cheaper leggings! I was SO excited to treat myself to these super expensive, high-falutin legwear, but was sorely disappointed when they got so pilled after literally a handful of wearings. I've had them nearly a year, but being the miser I am, I limit myself to only wearing them on special occasions...traveling, going out casual-nice etc. (Wow, guess that shows what a boring life I've lead during COVID!) On my recent trip, I was shocked to look down and see all of the balls of fluff on my leg. I hadn't been around any velcro or rubbed on anything that I can recall...so again, being the money-minded person I am, I was not only disappointed, but a bit upset as well after spending nearly $150 on these! I think that works out to $50/time if I indeed wore them five times. Aargh! I know Lululemon gives replacements when this happens, so I chatted up Amazon, who of course told me my 30-day return window had expired. I explained the situation, and they took pity on me, albeit begrudgingly; so I am getting a refund after about a half hour of finagling. The takeaway. If you choose to buy Lululemon, get them from the actual store, and think long and hard before you spend that much money on leggings. I have reevaluated, and I am going to go back to the store and purchase another pair. ... show more
