This has a wonderful beautiful fragrance of jasmine and sandalwood. A lot of fragrance for a small candle. However it is very strong, so you may want to watch how long it burns in an area. I love scent, but I lit this as soon as I got it in the early evening and put it in the bathroom and by midnight it was a little strong for me. I will still use it, but only if I can monitor how long. If you have guests, you may want to burn it an hour before they arrive and then put it out. It is a dark glass with a brand label on it, so beauty would be how you display it in a vignette. Jasmine, oud & sandalwood is a pleasant scent that fills a room potently like nag champa without being overpowering like patchouli. I like the cotton wick because it doesn’t crackle and I can oscillate my tower fan on low without blowing out the flame. It’s definitely an item that sets the perfect vibe. It was packaged well, without plastic and it arrived in less than a day. It might seem pricey but not when you realize it’s a long lasting, quality candle unlike most candles available today. I have rituals around luxury candles and home scenting. It’s not a cheap ritual but it fills me with joy. Burning $180 candle in one week is a money in the toilet kind of crime. But I’m guilty. These candles have the same composition and scent note quality at a fraction of price. They burn slowly with just the right amount of projection. Not too much. Not too little. I bought 2 Palo Santo and 1 Leather & Oud. Covers 1,500 sq ft. I also use a portable Aroma 360 Santal mister to fill in the square footage, but it’s not near the candles. These workhorses get the job done in their areas. I get my ritual fix more frequently now!! Of course, I still burn through $180 per area feast. But that’s just gluttony. ... show more

I really love the scent. It’s just not strong enough for me. I like smells that radiate in the whole room. If you like lighter scents this one is for you. It does smell like Baccarat.

I love this scent. It is strong even when not biting so it is great for keeping in powder rooms and entryways as a pleasant greeting for guests. Of course when burning the smell is stronger and will fill a room, even our great room with 24’ cathedral ceilings. These are a good price-value balance - not designer prices, but much better than discount /grocery brands that make your house smell like a fake candy factory or something. This is hands down my favorite candle. Just about everything with it is great: the smell, the glass, the design, the amount of time it lasts....all great. I only have 2 sorta things with it, which aren't big enough to dock points (stars) from the review. The first, is it would be great if there was a lid/cover of some sort to help hold in the smoke smell when you blow it out. The second is actually annoying, but again not enough to dock from the review. I get that it's glass, they don't want it broken during shipping etc... (and maybe they do this because someone complained about it in the past because it did get broken during shipping) but holy cow they gotta dial down the amount of boxes used to send this thing. I've ordered probably about 15 of these candles and each one has always come in at least 2 boxes (usually 3) of varying sizes. So for each candle I'm getting, I've gotten between 30-45 boxes. And inside of each of those boxes there is always tons of packing material to support it. So yeah, if they could dial down the boxes that would be great. In all fairness there is so much to review about a candle, and I can't review for everything. I returned the candle based on smell alone, cold throw only. I never burned it. I was disappointed with the Lemon Biscotti fragrance and the description provided. I purchased based on the top note description of Lemon. I truly smelled no lemon or anything close to a citrus smell. All I smelled was a sugar cookie. I am one of those people who do not like candles that smell like baked goods. The packaging and jar were nice. I was hopeful to try this brand and will keep my eye out for something that might suit me better. I was appreciative of the return policy and that goes a long way in trying again one day. ... show more

I've only recently started buying candles, so there is not too much I can do to analyze individual elements of it. However, what I can say is that the scent is quite powerful! It lasts a long time in the air. For instance, after ~2-3 of burning, the smell will linger for a day or two. My wick has also curled over on itself consistently, and it got hard to light it because the wax would solidify on around part of the wick. ... show more
