These shoes surprised me. First of all, they fit, even though I sized down after reading reviews. I ordered a medium instead of a wide and they aren't too tight, though I wouldn't be able to wear socks with them. But they feel like they fit perfectly from the first moment and they keep being comfortable. Also, I have a lot of other pairs of shoes of this style made by another more expensive brand that you've all heard of that are known for their great support but even though these shoes don't have the same kind of support, whatever they do have in there makes them just as comfortable to wear and walk in. (Another thing I like is that the soles aren't white.) Also, I love the fact that they are canvas. I am not a fan of that mesh stuff. Update August 2022 Still love these shoes! I grab for them constantly whether I am wearing a casual dress or jeans. I did the wash and dry test finally that I did not do before. They washed perfectly in the washer for me. The dryer (as some shoes do, the inner soles lifted - you can see attached photo) This is definitely not a deal breaker for me. I honestly did not even glue it back down. I just pushed it back down and stuck my foot in and went about my day. It was my own fault because I put them in the dryer. Some shoes can hold up and some can not. If you do wash in washer I would push in mesh beg and give yourself a couple days drying time if you want to air dry :) Original review I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase! I bought my regular size and they are just a tad loose, but nothing to complain about. I did not have time to wear them before my holiday but they were nothing but comfortable from day 1. I find myself grabbing for these shoes more often then not so that says a lot. I have had no shoe construction issues. I tend to wash my shoes in a garment bag in the washer, and then air dry, however, I have not done that yet. Regardless, I am quite happy! ... show more

I absolutely love these Lugz Women's Clipper Shoes! Finding comfortable shoes with a true wide fit can be difficult, but these fit amazingly right out of the box. I was pleasantly surprised that not only did they fit well, but I was actually able to go down a half size and still have plenty of room and comfort. They feel supportive without being tight, and I can wear them for long periods without discomfort. Had to return these. Maybe they just weren't meant for my feet. I have pretty small feet. Size 6, problem with these is the toe box was tight but the length was long. Was tight and loose at the same time, never had a shoe like that before

I loved these enough to buy a second pair. It's hard to find shoes in my size (10W), so it was nice to find that these were more than roomy enough. Honestly they run a little bit large, which is great if you want to wear them with cotton socks. However, I wear them without socks. I bought a nice insole for them, which worked well as it gave me additional arch support with room to spare. I have bought higher priced name brand clipper shoes that were not as sturdy as these.
