This one is a winner. I just completed a two week trip to the Philippines and this case was one of two luggage items I brought. Zero issues, nothing broke, no cosmetic damage. Performed perfectly. One trade off you'll have to live with is....you have to understand that you sacrifice some internal suitcase space due to the padding afforded the laptop. With that being said, here are my pros and cons: PROS 1. Rolls great. Super smooth. Wheels are able to roll smoothly while moving forward and spinning the case. 2. Laptop portion works fine...held my 14 in laptop just fine. Anything over 15 might be a tight fit....17 inches...probably a no-go. Minor negative that there's not much room for a charging block and cables for your laptop, but those can be carried in the main compartment. 3. Two main internal areas have zippered compartments, which is nice because when you open the case, stuff doesn't fall out...or at least your stuff is contained in the zippered area. 4. The handle locks in and unlocks and telescopes just fine...no issues. 5. The hard shell case is strong and can withstand a good amount of punishment. 6. The TSA locks for the main and laptop compartments are nice. They are easy to lock and unlock and do give a sense of security. Definitely a plus. 7. The luggage looks awesome. CONS (not many) 1. Zippers are not as smooth as I'd like, but they're fine IF you take your time and don't try to jam and force the zipper to open and close. 2. The laptop compartment has some internal fabric that in the fold that opens up into the path of the zipper making it hard to put your laptop away. You can combat that by simultaneously putting your finger on that fabric to keep it inside the case. Not a huge issue. 3. As mentioned in the intro, the smaller internal space due to the laptop CAN be an issue, if you unreasonably think you're going to stow a laptop inside of your carry-on and NOT take up any internal space. This luggage is an overall WIN. I love it. It will probably be able to support a 4-5 day trip...possibly. The smaller compartment size is OK and on a longer trip, I'd be taking a larger second luggage anyways...this is a perfect companion to a second, larger luggage item.

UPDATE: Excellent customer service. They pay close attention to all of their reviews and quickly reached out to me as they perceived I was less than thrilled with their product. This is not the case. I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s perfect for how I intend to use it. I just wanted to address the concerns of others regarding the reduced capacity for clothes. This is a well made, well designed bag, sold by people who clearly take a lot of pride in their offerings. I read all of the reviews on this and other similar carryon bags, and now I’ve bought and used one myself. First, The Zippers - I can see where the larger zipper pulls, which are integrated into a locking mechanism, can create issues when bags are checked. But this is a carryon. No problems. I suspect most of the zipper complaints come from the larger checked bags. Second, The Wheels - No problem on my bag. They seem well constructed. Perhaps those reviews are again from those with the bigger bags, or some spotty quality issues. Last, Capacity concerns - Well, this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. We all bought, or are buying this bag with the hopes of doing away with the second carryon we’ve needed to carry our laptops, tablets, cell phones and charging gear. Dump all of that stuff into the space limitations of a single carryon, and SURPRISE, there’s a lot less room available for clothes and toiletries. Thus, my assessment - This is a very good, 2-3 day carryon sized travel bag, that lets you back all of that stuff in one bag. Just don’t expect to stretch that to 4 or 5 days, like you can do with a normally configured carryon bag. Buy this bag if you value the convenience of accessibility to your IT gear, and the ability to integrate power bank charging, over the additional 2 days of clothing capacity. A weekend trip without checking a bag! Need capacity for a weeklong trip and don’t want to check a bag? Plan on 2 carryon bags. Yes, I would buy this again.

Haven't had any issues with this suitcase so far. Taken it on 4 United flights as my carry on, no problems fitting it the overhead compartments. Laptop section and zipper locks are nice additions. I haven't dropped with down a flight of stairs or anything so I can't say just how sturdy it is. But so far it's only been a tiny bit scuffed in some places, mostly the corners. Like others have mentioned I wish the wheels could be removed or retracted so they don't get damaged but that would likely limit the amount of packing space in the bag. I think as long as you're not throwing this things off a building you'll probably be ok. Only time will tell. I was able to pack for a week long trip that included 3 pairs of pants and 1 pair of shorts, 5 tshirts, my camera tripod and hiking boots. Plus my toiletries and 2 plushies I bought as souvenirs. The inside zippers make it easy to keep your belongings from getting caught in the exterior zipper. Adding my 16 inch Macbook to the front does make packing trickier, since that section gets harder to zip shut. Overall, a good bag for the price.
