This luggage appears to be very high quality. There was no cutting corners with this product. The double strength zipper is what sold me on this brand. I feel like the strength of the PC material would create a weak point at the zipper. Therefore, adding the "burst-proof" zipper is a logical idea. I've read so many reviews on other luggage that talked about their suitcase busting at the seams and their stuff spread all over the luggage belt. This luggage (large case) also has the top access so the case can be placed on a luggage rack and easily accessed (unlike all other clamshell type cases. The wheels are very smooth and the handles feel sturdier than any other luggage my family owns. The liner inside is very nice. High quality. The removable accessory flap is a really nice touch. I also love the side straps that connect the bottom case to the lid and prevents the lid (top) from falling all the way back. You can have the lid open and the integral lid pouches easily accessible. Nice touch. The dust covers are another really nice touch. The covers will keep them clean while being stored. I haven't traveled with this luggage yet but I'm confident it will work great.

I LOVE how this bag opens so much more easily than the traditional clamshell carry on. I usually travel with a leather medium sized weekender bag but I recently had surgery so i couldn’t carry anything heavier than my purse, so i got this bag specifically because it’s very lightweight and the way it opens makes it so much easier to access, even mid flight from the overhead compartments. It’s just the right size for all planes and the spinning wheels make it super easy to maneuver. The color is sophisticated and doesn’t show wear, quality seems excellent as it held up very well during traveling. Plus it was WAY cheaper than most other top-opening styles; I simply can’t stand paying more than necessary for luggage.

UPDATE: Excellent customer service. They pay close attention to all of their reviews and quickly reached out to me as they perceived I was less than thrilled with their product. This is not the case. I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s perfect for how I intend to use it. I just wanted to address the concerns of others regarding the reduced capacity for clothes. This is a well made, well designed bag, sold by people who clearly take a lot of pride in their offerings. I read all of the reviews on this and other similar carryon bags, and now I’ve bought and used one myself. First, The Zippers - I can see where the larger zipper pulls, which are integrated into a locking mechanism, can create issues when bags are checked. But this is a carryon. No problems. I suspect most of the zipper complaints come from the larger checked bags. Second, The Wheels - No problem on my bag. They seem well constructed. Perhaps those reviews are again from those with the bigger bags, or some spotty quality issues. Last, Capacity concerns - Well, this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. We all bought, or are buying this bag with the hopes of doing away with the second carryon we’ve needed to carry our laptops, tablets, cell phones and charging gear. Dump all of that stuff into the space limitations of a single carryon, and SURPRISE, there’s a lot less room available for clothes and toiletries. Thus, my assessment - This is a very good, 2-3 day carryon sized travel bag, that lets you back all of that stuff in one bag. Just don’t expect to stretch that to 4 or 5 days, like you can do with a normally configured carryon bag. Buy this bag if you value the convenience of accessibility to your IT gear, and the ability to integrate power bank charging, over the additional 2 days of clothing capacity. A weekend trip without checking a bag! Need capacity for a weeklong trip and don’t want to check a bag? Plan on 2 carryon bags. Yes, I would buy this again.

I took this everywhere with me in Japan for over three weeks. It was on planes, trains, and in automobiles, dragged over 1,000+ miles, down a stair path that went on for almost a mile, dropped, tripped over, sat on (to get everything in), and was on five different flights. This thing hardly has a scratch on it and the wheels did great! I do wish the wheels were a little bigger, but it held up well with an additional (30 pound) backpack attached to it, so I am giving the highest rating possible. I researched several carry ons and I am glad I ended up with this one on my trip. Highly recommend! I purchased the blue and the color is nice. The space held all of my laptops and it kept them safe. Great luggage!

This is a nice suitcase, and I loved the non-clamshell design. The main zipper pulls are longer than usual because the latch into the combination lock mechanism. The way they work is clever and efficient, AND it’s actually a TSA lock, so it can be opened by TSA if necessary without the need to destroy your lock or zipper. - I found two problems with the suitcase, so I returned it. 1- the four spinner wheels are the nice double-wheel style, so I hoped to buy silicone covers that can be removed for cleaning. However- they won’t fit on these wheels for lack of room. 2- there was a flaw inside: like most suitcases, this one has a zipper for opening the lining. Unfortunately, this lining had a broken zipper, hence the decision to return it. I plan to look for a replacement that can accept a set of removable wheel covers. If I CAN’T, then I’ll order another suitcase exactly like this one, but with a functioning inside zipper.

Bought this once I realized my life is far too short to keep struggling with awful clamshell-style suitcases. This suitcase stays contained, and is easy to manage. For example, this style bag won't slide off a normal luggage rack like the clamshell-style bags. Even more than that, I love the flexibility of the deeper space in this style suitcase, big enough for shoes, toiletries, a travel steamer, etc. What made this one stand out though is the removable organizing flap that clips in on the top layer; it's versatile, has a hangar hook, and adds nicely to the other organizing pockets. Lastly, I love that the interior is a light color, not yet another black liner that makes it impossible to find things during busy travels. 100% happy with this purchase!

As a photographer and perpetual wanderer with a serious case of the travel bug, my carry-on is my lifeline. I've dragged my gear through cobblestone streets in Lisbon, squeezed into tiny Parisian hotel elevators, and sprinted through terminals in Amsterdam. My search for the perfect suitcase felt endless—until I found the Luggex top-loader. This thing is an absolute epic win for my lifestyle. Let's talk about the TOP-OPEN DESIGN. This is the genius feature I never knew I needed. European hotels are famous for their, ahem, cozy dimensions. Trying to flip open a clamshell case in those spaces is a contortionist act. With this Luggex, I just pop the top while it's upright on the rack or even the floor, and bam—everything is accessible. It’s perfect for my irregularly shaped camera lenses and drone.
