I've been using this case for a few work trips now, and although the suitcase itself is really heavy (over 13lbs empty), it is very durable and easy to close. I'm used to using zippered cases, so the two latches are new to me, but they seem sturdy (even though they are made of plastic) and the combination lock is nice, but definitely not necessary! First impressions from a person that travels two or three times a month for business. Bought many brands over the last twenty years. Most in the last 10 years were Samsonite for Family and Business Travel. Last Samsonite Carry on lasted seven months before the wheel broke off two weeks ago and decided to give Luggex a try. Nice looking suitcase. Carry on feels very sold with no flex when loaded. Nice interior layout. Like the zipper less feature. Travels nicely around the house/driveway and seems very stable loaded. I have a Rimowa carryon that I use for business. It's so nice and has gotten better over the years as it's gotten more wear, dents, stickers. But spending $2k for the big check-in size for family holiday travel, especially when our family needs 2+ for any trip, is not in this year's budget. Especially when Luggex has this sleek boxy design, matte aluminum locks, hinges, and corner guards, and 360 wheels. Holds everything from clothes to toys to baby stuff to gifts and white plastic shell is tough and hard. Also don't mind if the baggage guys toss it around a little to give it a little character. At this price I was happy to retire our old Costco luggages and upgrade to a matching set that can take our family through the next 5 years of travel. ... show more

This is my initial review of my new luggage that arrived today. I will update after I travel with it. My luggage arrived 3 days earlier than expected (thanks Amazon!) and in excellent condition. Packaging was good & I like how a sleeve was included around the piece. The exterior color is nice & the latches worked as described. I was able to change the lock code to something of my choice with ease. Interior workmanship is good- no tears. Zippers work fine & functional. No issue with compression strap. Wheels are solid & the luggage rolls with ease. My last piece had 4 wheels total so the additional wheels on this piece (8 total) is nice - very quiet too. Unrelated, I also bought packing cubes to use with this luggage too. I took 1 star away for price. So currently, I give it 4/5. ... show more

We ordered 2 sets of this, 28" and carryon, and the 26" and carryon. We've used them for a couple of trips and loved them. They look and feel better than the average luggage by the usual brands. They appear higher quality than the other bags on the belt at baggage claim. The aluminum frame is awesome and the texture keeps them looking good. The built in TSA locks are super convenient. The only detractors would be that I find the Luggex logo plate a little tacky but that's just my opinion. Also the locks do get a little beat up, but just some scratches and it doesn't effect the lock functionality in any way. Neither of these are enough to lower my rating. 5 stars all the way. We have more trips planned including Hawaii in the spring. Can't wait to use these again. ... show more

This case is outstanding. Very light, very maneuverable. Great pockets on the inside and the handles fold in. The case does not have a zip, so clothes don't get caught. Excellent bag.
