  • Worth it.
Size: 6.5 Wide Color: Bourbon
I wear flats every day to the office, so finding a good pair is important to me. There is no article of clothing I will wear as much as a pair of flats. My sister had these, and and she let me borrow them for some pictures, and I fell in love with then and ordered a pair of my own, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I typically wear a 5.5-6, but I got a 6.5 because that is what my sister had and it fit fine. If I had not tried hers on first, I probably would have ordered a 5.5 or 6 and they would have been a tad bit too tight. So in my opinion, the sizing is not accurate. Pros: -Made with good quality material that is soft on skin and doesn't rub blisters into your feet. -Very flexible, which keeps me from feeling like my toes we're stiff all day. Also, I don't get toe corns when I wear these because they don't squish my toes together really tightly. Cons: -Not true to size. -Insole is very minimalistic/barely there, which can be a pro because of flexibility, but also means it offers no cushion or support. Overall, the cons don't outweigh the pros for me. I can do without cushioned insoles if that means I am not going to get blisters, corns, or stiff toes. I am happy with my purchase and I will be buying them in other colors as well. I hope that this review was helpful in your decision to purchase or pass on these flats though. ... show more

  • Comparing with Hush Puppies Chaste Ballet
I ordered both these and the Chaste Ballet in Nude Size 11. I could tell right away that the Hush Puppies would be painful in the heel and top of my foot at the toebox area, needing a lot of breaking in. The sole of the Lucky Brand is perfect, while I noticed (in my other Chaste as well) that the sole of the foot is distinctively separate between the heel and ball of the foot, making it easy to have your foot slip to one side or the other depending how you walk. Walking just a bit on the carpet, I could tell that the Hush Puppies were already having my foot slip off to the side of the heel. I did notice immediately, especially in comparing these with the Hush Puppies, that my feet would sweat a bit in these. Nonetheless, I kept the Nude Lucky Brand and love them. They fit perfectly and were immediately comfortable. No chafing/blisters at all since wearing. I preferred the color of the Lucky Brand nude over the Hush Puppies. The Lucky Brand are more of a off-white/very light beige, while the Hush Puppies are brighter, more white. Both brands show no toe cleavage on my feet. They hit just at the edge of the toe cleavage. Lucky Brand Emmie PROS -Comfortable immediately -Buttery soft -Great sole - no slipping side to side at all -Fit better (I would say in comparing that Lucky Brand fits just a bit smaller - maybe a quarter size - than the Hush Puppies) -Cuter toe box - not the extra/more pointed toe CONS -Do make your feet sweat a bit Hush Puppies Chaste PROS -Don't make your feet sweat -Comfy around edges depending on material (not the Nude - but yes in the Stud style) CONS -Longer/pointy toe box compared to Lucky Brand, which I don't find as cute -Foot slips off to side when wearing -Need to break in depending on material Good luck on your search for the perfect ballet flat! ... show more

  • Stylish flats...but a bit painful!
Size: 9 Color: American Navy
I have been searching for decent priced, stylish, comfortable flats. I found these Lucky Brand Emmie flats and thought they would fit my needs perfectly. I received them last week and wore them for the first time today. The quality of shoe is very nice! The inside padding is sufficient and super cushy. I am usually between a size 8.5 or 9 so I ordered the size 9 based upon the reviews that these ran slightly small. The size 9 fit me perfectly! I was skeptical that these shoes would rub the back of my heel since they are a semi scrunch style. The only problem that I am currently having is the shoe is rubbing along the seam near the upper side of my foot. I have been wearing them for several hours now and the shoe is digging even worse into my skin to the point that I have to take them off while at my desk (I attached a picture so you can see the exact area). I am hoping that this problem will correct itself after wearing the shoes a few times to break them in. If not I won't be investing in any more pairs, which is very disappointing because they are perfect in every other way :( ... show more

  • Surprisingly good 😊
Size: 11 Color: Pale Beige
Very comfortable, might even be better than Sam Edelman. Just know that I went up 1 full size from a 10 to an 11 and they fit good ( had to because the 10 1/2 were sold out, so glad I decided to chance it). I am usually a 10 but for some reason these flats run small both Sam Edelman and now the Lucky brand. This color was on sale, so now i will probably go back and get the other colors if available… ... show more

  • Beautiful looking, but not very comfortable...This and Basel Boot leave me questioning Lucky brand quality and price.
Size: 8 Color: Bourbon
I recently bought these flats in black and brown ("bourbon" color), as well as the Basel boots in the same two colors. It's my first experience with Lucky Brand shoes, and so far I'm going to say I'll only buy them again if (1) on sale and (2) only plan on wearing them a few times, or for limited periods of time in a day/week. Here's why. LOOK: They are absolutely beautiful. The leather is soft, and the colors are perfect. I used some Kiwi leather conditioning balm on them, and it darkened the brown pair a bit, but they look fine...still enough contrast to wear with black pants/skirts. I haven't worn the brown Emmie flats around town yet, but the brown boots did scratch up in just a few hours of wear to where they look old already :/ One thing I don't like about the look of this particular style is that, since I had to buy a half-size bigger than my usual 7.5 (see below), the sides around my feet look a little squishy and will probably look even squishier/flatten out as the leather stretches. The squish of the sides, paired with the tight banding at the heel (in the back), causes the shoe to look a little lumpy against the floor. The back kind of triangles outward and makes it look like they're really too big for me. FIT/COMFORT: Despite this squish/triangle effect, and the fact that I listened to other reviewers and ordered an 8 instead of my usual 7.5 (also true for the Basel boots), the heel of the shoes (particularly the right one) still rubs at my Achilles tendon. I don't walk THAT much at work, and even in the one day that I've been wearing the black pair, my right heel is very sad. Luckily, I have tights on today to soften the blow. I think part of the problem relates the the triangle look I mentioned above--the upper part of the shoe's heel is placed or is pulled (by the elastic in the sides, I assume) in about 1 full inch farther forward (toward the heel) than the bottom part of the shoe's heel (where it meets the floor). This makes for a tight heel. Additionally, my toes start to feel squished a couple of hours after intermittent walking in these shoes. It may be the triangle heel pushing them forward into the narrower toebox. The inner soles of the shoes have some cushioning but are by no means supportive. I can definitely feel the ground with every step, and I'm not really into the "barefoot" thing...But I have to give these a break, because they ARE ballet flats, and this style of shoe is not known for being comfy. DURABILITY: I used that conditioning balm on these to try to waterproof them, but they are so low to the ground and thin that I'm a little nervous about walking on anything besides perfect tile flooring (e.g., small puddles, snow, wet ground). I'm not used to this, as I usually wear boots, Keens, etc. that are lifted a bit off the ground with truly rubber soles. The soles of these are very thin, as is the rest of the shoe (leather top part), and there are edges of the leather that hit the pavement when I walk (that fall outside the protection of the rubber sole). My boots (the Basel) of the same bourbon brown color, as I mentioned, already scratched up a ton in one day of wearing, so I'm nervous about the durability of the brown flats, as well. The fabric covering over the heel of my Basel boots also began to peel away from the rubber heel after just one day's wear, and there's a nail or something poking up through the heel into the shoe, so I'm not super confident in the quality of Lucky Brand so far. OVERALL: These are cute, and I'll keep them because I can't return them...and because I'm sure I'll need a basic black or brown flat for some work occasion at some point. But as far as comfort and durability, after one day wearing the Basel boot and another day wearing the black Emmie flat, I'm already on Amazon again browsing for Keens and Jambus. They're just more comfortable (if a little less feminine/sleek looking), and far, far more durable/high quality. ... show more

  • Super cute shoe - Lucky šŸ€ Brand
Size: 8 Color: Black Leather
Perfect fit, size 8 black, wear them around the house to break them in or blisters. These pair perfectly with maxi dresses or skirts. I may order in brown. They have good traction and very little heel. Finally a cute shoe without exposing my toes!

  • Don’t Buy! Cheap Quality!
Size: 8 Color: American Navy
I adored these flats when they arrived. I purchased 3 pairs (brown, black, and navy) and sent back the brown pair because they looked pink. I’ve only worn the black ones a few times since they cause me foot pain; strangely, the navy ones feel like I’m walking on clouds, but I lack sufficient navy outfits to wear them more than once a week. I had them on today, and when I removed them, I was shocked. They look like trash. I work at a desk job, and the most I walk is to the restroom a couple of times daily. I park my vehicle directly in front of my workplace on the ground level. There are no walkways, no recreational areas, no paths to stroll, so these shoes, (1 month old), and worn less than 10 times, should look new. These are the lowest quality $59 shoes I've ever owned. My 5-year-old everyday $20 synthetic black flats appear brand new next to these navy, costly, poorly-constructed leather shoes that I received on 7/226! The return window ended on 8//1/26; had I worn them more often, I would have seen they were deteriorating and would have returned them. Such a waste of money! ... show more

  • Soft leather
Size: 7.5 Color: Black Dark
Soft leather shoes. I love these, I keep them in black and brown. They are a tiny bit tight, after wearing them one good time they fit perfectly. I'm a 7.5 in size. I'm replacing my black pair that I've had for a couple of years. They are worth the price. I haven't found this particular cut and material with another brand. It's worth the price to have the exact style that I like. Sorry, no arch support, but they are slip resistant. ... show more
