These are great wooden shutters for the price. The first set sent was damaged during shipping, but the seller was extremely accommodating and sent a refund before they even made it back to them. The shutters were easy to paint. and looked great after putting them up.

Well-built and the wood appeared to be dry and ready to prime. I contacted the seller re. primer and was advised to use KIllz primer which I did. Took a long time to dry on these shutters. Ditto the color coat. There is still a slightly sticky feel to the finish after a month.

My original shutters fell apart after 50 years of service. I couldn't find ready made shutters with the same dimensions so I purchased these which are about one inch shorter both in length and width. However, they look great and I am very satisfied with them!

I purchased these in 2021 but due to other projects did not get to install them until November of 2022. They were primed and painted prior to install yet, after less than four months, one of the two is falling apart. Our previous set lasted nearly 20 years against adverse weather.
