I was looking for pantyhose that are not control tops, and that sit lower on my waist, these were perfect because the lace waistband has silicone grippy things on it so you can place it wherever you like and it stays. Somewhat like the band of a strapless bra. The only reason mine ripped is because I was rushing getting ready and pulled too hard without grabbing enough fabric to spread out the tension, so unfortunately they ripped, but it's been about 4 months of weekly wear, and going thru the laundry with no problem! The minute we got them there was at least 7 snags in them. I ordered these for my wife. To attend her grandmother's funeral. They was completely torn by the end of the day. I've got pics but Amazon says it can't load the format of the pics. This was a complete waste of 20 bucks

PROS: I love the waistband on these tights. I can't stand squeezy control top tights, and these are incredibly comfortable around the waist, and the rubberized lining around the band had them staying in place perfectly. CONS: By the second use I had to throw them away due to runs in the material. I was very careful hand washing them in between wears, but during my second wear I noticed a tiny pull, and by the end of the day it had stretched down the front of my thigh. Such a shame because they look very nice and really are comfortable - loved them when I first got them! Too pricey for such delicate tights, though. ... show more
