We have found that Canadian airports lack charging station areas. Even the first class lounges may lack an AC outlet to charge your devices. We used one of these bricks to keep my spouse's tablet charged on one layover. They can be a godsend in the ugly event of a power loss at your hotel in hurricane season. So I keep one of these power banks in my travel bag of chargers and USB charge cables. I will add the second, if we travel to areas more susceptible to power outages.

I got these on sale and they've been quite nice to have around when my phone starts running out of juice. One of the charging cords that it came with was faulty and wouldn't charge, but that was easily swappable with a standard USB to USB-C. It also has a USB Micro B which is a nice bonus. Overall quality of the shell is fine and the textured plastic finish is a nice touch. Overall a relatively durable product that can be nice to have when in a pinch. Just watch out for quality issues.

I'm very happy with the product. It is purely for insurance. you never know when governmental incompetence will cause rolling blackouts,or your traveling. It nice to know you will have emergency power when you need it. nothing could be worse than to have a phone or tablet with a dead battery in an emergency. Camping is another thing this would be great for. As for me ,I have tried it and am very happy with it. I bought 2 of them. one for me and one for my daughter and grandson to have just in case.

Assuming you charge your phone when the power drops to around 25% or so (going below 20% damages the life of the battery), you should be able to get about 4 full charges for most common smart phones, without going into the bottom 20% of the battery pack's own power and damaging it. This was perfect for family vacations when we knew we would be shooting a lot of video, using it for navigation, and is great to keep in a cool place in the vehicle for an emergency situation. If keeping your Lithium Ion battery chemistry in good condition is important to you, keep them away from heat, and don't run them below 20%. This booster pack is great resource (and VERY affordable) to keep you going. God bless and enjoy!

I got them for my brother to use for his devices. He has a lot of portable devices and was running out of usb ports. He just leaves them plugged into the power banks. It's got a nice design. Doesn't emit any noticeable heat. And the lights that indicate the charge are designed to be visible only when looking straight at that part of the device, so they're good to place on the nightstand without emitting any light and won't hinder sleep.

I bought these off of an ad that advertised them as super thin. That's not true - I have picked up cheap ones at Walmart that were thinner, lighter and lasted just as long. They do last pretty long, though, and the flat shape makes them easier to have on the phone while the phone is in use. They pair well with the one-foot charging cables for iPhone. I use them regularly but they are nowhere near the thinnest or most convenient ones I have.
