My daughter wanted a new comforter and picked this out. When we got it the packaging was a bit concerning. It came in a very small box, but the whole comforter was shrink wrapped inside. We took it out, I did wash it in cold water on delicate, but dried it on the regular setting with heat. It came put perfect! It did fluid up quite a bit and it looks beautiful on her bed. We live in ohio so it is starting to get cold. My daughter said said she doesn't get too hot or too cold in the night, she is comfortable and cozy during our cold nights. This really is a great buy, we have only had it a week, but so far this comforter has been perfect for her! Side note: I have sensory issues and this comforter was not itchy, does not have a weird texture, embroidery, or thick seams. It is soft to the touch, but It is a bit light so if you need something a bit heavier a weighted blanket on top might help. ... show more

Let me begin by saying, I wasn’t the most keen on buying a comforter online and one of the main reasons why was not being able to feel the fabric and see the craftsmanship or lack thereof. I have bought many comforters from “big box” stores that were quite a bit more costly than what I paid for this king size comforter, and they were scratchy, the colors didn’t hold up after a few washes and some of them began to become unraveled at the seams. So with that being said, I was a little hesitant. However, my daughter was so “in love” with the one she had picked out and the price was “Ahmazing” for a king size comforter so I went ahead and ordered it. So happy and glad I did! We opened the package and immediately we were relieved as it was not scratchy whatsoever and the weight was perfect for this time of year. We live in the South, North Carolina specifically, and it is beginning to be quite warm here and she needed a lightweight comforter for her bed. I mean who can really sleep when they’re hot?! We sure cannot!! On a serious note, I can say that so far it has held up fine in the wash. We haven’t had it too very long to go through a month’s worth of washes but the little time we’ve had it, I couldn’t be more pleased with the durability. I washed it in cold water, low spin and dryed it on low. One thing I do and this is just me, but I feel it may could extend the life a little longer of your comforter or blanket and that is taking them out when they’re lightly damp and let them continue to “air dry.” I just go to bed happier when I have new, clean and soft bedding to look forward to each night. This comforter is very soft and although it’s lightweight, it’s very warm (it’s a cold January here in PA!) Couldn’t decide on a color so went with the black and white and it blends really well with the blue walls. Washed and dried with no problem before using to fluff it up and try to get rid of wrinkles.
