I have gotten several different RC cars in an attempt to find a really good one for my nephews. All of the others have been too difficult for the little ones to play with. These are perfect for the younger kids because they are so easy to maneuver. The remotes are very straightforward, the buttons have pictures to show which way the car will go. The cars have lights on them and they also make sounds. The little dinosaurs can be taken out of the cars to play with them separate from the cars. I think that this would make a great gift for kids ranging from about 18 months to 3 or 4 years.

4 year old learned how to handle these after 2 uses. 3 year old is taking longer, but is learning not to just push both buttons at the same time. They are learning certain buttons go 1 direction and not to hold both at the same time. They race each other. Knock into other building toys causing a crash. They go pretty fast on our concrete floor. Do not move well on carpet or rugs. Would recommend.

These cars come well packaged. The characters are interchangeable between the vehicles. They both drive smoothly and quickly. The remote is fairly simple, only two buttons, which makes it easier for a 4 or 5 year old to figure out how to drive it. The sounds are fun, but they cannot be turned off or muted, only one volume level. Overall a fun toy for younger kids who want to drive rc cars like the older kids.

I picked this out to give as a gift to my 4 year old son. He's in to dinosaurs. This pair of cars is perfect for him to play with his older sister so there are no fights. They seem to be built rather well. I did not want to remove them from the packaging before giving them to him so I have not had a chance to try them out. I feel confident he's going to love them and that they should hold up pretty well. I feel having two is a great value.
