This bat takes us all back to the days where all we had was aluminum. The sound the bat makes is far better than any composite bat you can buy and the ball absolutely jumps off the bat. Can you say DINGERS! I bought my son this bat for his birthday and he loves it. The bat boosted his confidence level after a few rounds at the batting cage but on the field, he’s hitting the ball great. He hit 2 home runs and every other ball that’s hit is in the outfield. The bat makes a great *POP* sound and it’s almost like he’s addicted to hearing it each time he’s at bat. Definitely worth the price, even better when it was discounted for being an open box. My sons bat, bought in April of ‘23. Writing this review in December of ‘23. It had great pop and a crisp sound to it. My son loved it. Around 30 games and 20 practices later, it’s nowhere near as good. The bat was not abused. Only he used it and he’s 9. Loved my TPX models in my playing days but the bats today leave a lot to be desired durability wise. If you’re buying a new bat every year you can’t go wrong here. My son used this bat for 6 weeks and the bat has lost its pop. Very disappointed in Louisville bats, for a company synonymous with baseball. I don’t think I will ever buy a product again from Louisville again.
