I was pleasantly surprised with this bat. I grew up with Louisville Slugger bats so I had somewhat high expectations. I had already bought a "composite" type bat for my girls to play t-ball. The are both very small and light weight so we need extremely light bats. The so called "composite" bat seemed little more than a piece of grey PVC pipe with stickers. This bat was actually 0.5 oz lighter and had much better balance. As the team coach, I used both bats to practice infield ground balls and this bat performed much better. My 3 yr old that didn't break 30 lbs this season hit just fine with it. I did have her choke up for better control but I couldn't be happier. ... show more

Great bat! My tiny 6 year old used this bat for 8 under on a pitching machine and did great. She was a foot smaller than all of the other girls and was second in the batting line up after switching to this bat. A must buy especially for small girls.

nice kid bat for the price. makes a difference as compared to the old bats you will find laying around the ballpark. hard for small kids to clobber stuff with a 30 lb bat. this one was used by 10 y.o. girl who weighs about 50 pounds -- you might want to go heavier for an older daughter.

I bought this bat for my daughter before the fall ball season started. She was moving up from 8U to 10U. In 8U the balls are softer but in 10U they go to a harder ball. She needed a bat that did not sting her hands. This bat did the trick. She loves it and is confident to swing it.
