These are really cute! I have very high arches, so I had to add my Orthoheel athletic shoe inserts, but they fit perfectly over the non-removable ones in these shoes. They have a wide toe box, which makes them look slightly clown-shoe like, but comfort trumps looks in those case, and I think they will look less so as they break in. I love the side zipper! I laced them comfortably, and now I can take out them on and take them off without having to re-lace every time. The top of the shoe and tongue are slightly padded, so they don’t rub anywhere. The heels fit snugly, so they don’t slip and my socks stay up. I just received them, so I can’t speak to durability, but they seem to be well made. I highly recommend them.

I broke my ankle and I’m a dancer. I wanted to find a supportive high top to wear when I start walking without the walking boot, that could also double as an occasional dance shoe; not heavy weighted. I don’t like laced shoes because I tend to pull my shoes off without untying. I also have wide feet and buying shoes is difficult. I ordered these in 8.5 (my usual size is 8w) so I ordered these a half size larger, but also followed the size chart. I ordered 2 others brands at the same time, but they were both too small and had to be returned. These fit perfectly! They are cute, easy to put on and get off. I have only worn them around the house, because I’m still in a walking boot for outside, but they are very comfortable, supportive and not so heavy that I feel like I’m stomping around. I’ll provide an update after I’m truly walking again. Part 2. I went to a party last night and exchanged the walking boot for these. I was able to get around easily and they were comfortable and supportive of my bad ankle. I’ve seen comments about the slick sole and the main reason I bought these is they came up as high top dance sneakers, so being able to turn on the dance floor is important to me. I was able to dance a bit last night, so I’m really happy with these!

Very comfortable, have several pairs of Rocket Dog sneakers bought directly from the company. These from Amazon cost less but the zipper is a bit stiff, more difficult to zip up and down. Still wear them regularly though.

I actually LOVED these shoes. I have bad ankles and they helped them feel secure. Similar to converse or vans high tops. I loved how they looked. Unfortunately the zipper broke after about 2 months. I will say I wore them almost daily and rarely untied the laces when taking them off, I just used the zipper. I liked them enough to buy again just i would say if youre not in a rush, take them off by untying them as to make the zipper last longer as it is not very durable.

I have hypermobility & suffer from subluxation, especially in my ankles. I started with Vans because they were the only shoes I could find that I could fit my ankle braces in. Unfortunately, they are pricey, wear out after 6 months, & a royal pain to put on (especially with mobility issues). I added elastic shoe laces & replaced the zipper pulls with small key ring loops. I can't express how much easier they are to put on & how comfortable they are to wear. Cons: the toe box is wider that I was used to & pretty bright white. For the first month wearing them they reminded me of clown shoes, lol. I got used to it & it's worth it because they feel so much better! Also, my akles do not fit with my braces on BUT they are supportive enough that I don't need them unless I walk a ton.

I received my shoes today. I was so excited to get them When I tried to unzip one of the shoes, the zipper would not move. The other shoes unzipped fine. When took a close look at the zipper I noticed the metal zipper was mashed down on the zipper teeth. Is this fixable and how do I do it or do I need to return them? I specifically bought them to zip on and off due to health issues.
