I got one to try and they left my face feeling soft and fresh , but not sure I could justify using these weekly. This was a fun little mask and I like that it was two pieces for a better fit but like other reviewers mentioned it did leave a residue that was tacky, almost like dry soap. I would get a better result using cerave cleanser and la roche lotion. But it was fun, maybe to do for a girls sleep over.

I have only used one of these Loop masks. The mask comes in 2 pieces (divided just below the nose). It is easy to apply to the face, but you are supposed to put the “textured” side toward your skin - It was a little difficult for me to feel a difference between sides. The mask tended to separate from my face just a little at depressions - like outboard of my eyes and where my nose meets my forehead, but I pushed it back into place a few times and I think it was okay. Otherwise, it stayed in place well, and I could see well enough to read. This mask had a lot of packaging. After I put the mask on my face, I weighed the remaining packaging, and it was 30 grams of plastic, which seems a bit wasteful. Since you can only use the mask once, it might be nice if you could just buy the serum from the mask and apply it directly to your face. The directions are limited - it did not give any suggestion as to what to do after removing the mask, such as rinsing (I don’t think this is the plan), or perhaps moisturizing? I did the mask just before bed and did not rinse or moisturize. In the morning my skin looked good; it was soft and smooth and not dry. Some active blemishes had improved. The visible sebum strands on my nose were still about the same (just a few light brown ones on the upper half of my nose). I still had a slight burning sensation (not painful, but like an effective light chemical peel), but my skin was not red. You definitely want to keep this away from the eye area. I did not rinse or wash in the morning, and the slight burn continued. In the evening, I rinsed my face, but still had a very slight burning feeling for a while. After one use, I cannot determine whether continued use will reduce dark spots, but judging by the slight burning feel, I think this mask is effective. ... show more
