This is the most I have ever spent on a pair of reader glasses. I was hesitant at first to spend the money, but I am glad I did. They are very well-made, and the attention to detail is magnificent. Heavy and hinges rip hair out

These glasses are heavy and hurt to wear after several hours so not great for work. Also the hinges grab your hair and rip it out. So not great overall. But they’re cute!

I LOVE these readers, with one caveat
These readers arrived today and as soon as I opened the box I was in love. I ordered the champagne, but I would more describe it as translucent root beer. Check out the photos of the people wearing the glasses for a more accurate color than the stand-alone photo. I love the oversized style, however I do have one issue that may cause me to return them if I can't fix it. Out of the box these glasses were huge, falling off my face whenever I turned my head down a little (as in, say, reading a book!). The makers say that it's ok to adjust the temples for a better fit and that they are guaranteed not to break. I have been experimenting with this, trying to get a snug enough fit. What a difference from the cheap ones! Not only is my vision clearer, but they don't feel like they're about to fall apart at any second. Plus, they don't squeeze my head and leave those uncomfortable dents, and the frame arms are over an inch longer than the cheapies. Too bad they sent me the wrong color ... ... show more
