Just arrived and I tried them on. I have pretty wide feet at the toe “knuckles”, and ordered 9.5 W. They could’ve been a bit wider, but they should do nicely for skirts. I have an average calf, and there was ample room without looking weirdly wide, so I appreciate that. I wear a 9.5 in most shoe brands, and the 9.5 fits just right. Can’t say anything about durability yet, but they seem well-made. I don’t put my shoes through anything too crazy, so I think these should last me for a few years if taken care of. ... show more

Love them!

Love these. They’re comfy, pretty, and my feet don’t hurt after wearing them all day. I’m normally a true 9. I ordered a 9&1/2. My calves aren’t huge but they’re not tiny either. I usually don’t do wide calf, and I didn’t here, but I may have been a bit more comfy with wide calf. I have to wear very fitted leggings or jeans with these (which is typically how they’re worn so it makes sense). I do feel like they stretched to fit me better after the first use. They keep my feet warm but I can’t wear super thick socks with them. Maybe size a half size up a full size if you’re concerned. No issues with the zipper or the weight of these boots. They’re light, comfy, and look good. I will say I read somewhere in these reviews that they don’t say London fog anywhere and that’s not true for the pair I received. They arrived in a London fog box, have a London fog label in the sole, and have a London fog tag printed on the inside of the boot around the top area where they sometimes put size and stuff. They’re definitely London fog, and they’re great boots for a great price. ... show more

Too small

I bought a pair of these boots back in 2021. I loved them so much I decided to order the same boots in a different color 4 years later. But... They don't make them like they used to. The calves fit way too small compared to the last pair I ordered. Disappointed.

I just wrote the review! Perhaps in the wrong space! I liked the boots. However, they’re too narrow even though I ordered half size larger (91/2 WIDE). Very beautiful clean boots. Look & feel expensive. I bought these as horse riding boots. Very comfortable & work great! I gave them only four stars bc the calf is looser than I’d like. For reference, I’m 5’6”, 120#, wear a size 2/4 pants, 7.5 in heels, 8.5 in sneakers. I purchased the size 8.5 regular width & they fit perfectly in the shoe, just a bit loose in the calf for me, but I’m not very muscular. ... show more

Let's start by just saying I love mostly all boots. I have many pairs of all colors of the rainbow, but my absolutely favorite pair of brown boots that I wear all the time are reaching the end of their lives so I started looking for a replacement. I knew I didn't want to break the bank since I already have several pair that cost me more than a couple hundred dollars, and wanted something I wouldn't be worried about wearing down, or getting dirty. I usually wear a size 8.5 to 9. In these I ordered a size 9 so I could add a dr. scholles cushion support. They are slightly large, but fit perfectly with the inserts. They have a little extra room in the toe cage, which is nice for people like me (note: I can't wear most Frye boots due to their standard size toe cage). I also love that I have enough room for a nice pair of wool socks in the colder months. As far as the look goes, I don't find these cheap looking what so ever, and the color gives them a slight textured appearance, which I like. I walked the dog to the park and back (about 2 miles) when I first got these and had no blisters or discomfort. My only con would be the size of the opening of the boot. I'm a runner and a skier so my calves are a little bit on the larger size and it will be more difficult to wear layered socks and thicker jeans with these. They fit snug against my thin leggings, but this is something I run into often. ... show more
