I love these pants. They are very comfortable and a little loose in the waist. The material is solid and the pads feel durable. The knees pads sometimes don’t stay where I want them when I’m riding my motorcycle but it’s really not that big of a deal. I had a minor accident at about 15 mph where someone clipped me in my side and I slide maybe 10 feet. No damage to the pants at all. ... show more

Really like these pants. Great price point and well made. They run large. I am normally a 32-inch waist. I ordered a 29 (small). They fit perfectly. Use the fit guide. It's quite accurate. They are quite thick and will be a bit hot in summer temperatures.

THIS IS AN UPDATE FROM YESTERDAY when they arrived. I’m not 19 or 29 yo, older but not a big gut. I liked the fit as I proceeded to put them on for a ride today BUT the waist has to be pulled up above the hips ,(constantly) stretch material I suppose.. ( but will not stay there) . SO I also put on suspenders. The HIP PADS ride on the thigh, nowhere near the hips. I’m not sure why most foreign made pants have a short zipper but regular crotch (barley 2 fingers to get zipper spread.) small hands? I really do not like the fact that the hip pads location is poor. Not sure what to do to alter them. Cloth inside pockets are sewn below the belt (think of football hip pads placement) where they ought to be? ... show more

PROTECT YOURSELF - it is you responsibility. Make sure you purchase the aramid armored pants, with the CE hip and knee inserts. Oddly, go a couple of sizes down. I now own 7 pairs of these, essentially live in them. Good value. Stylish, I think. They do need a good washing before wear, the black pairs do need the dye washed out - it is hot wear I live and in a new pair, the dye ends up on your leg, WASH THEM BEFORE WEAR. Ensure the hip CE pads point the correct way. FOR THOSE WHO THINK THEY OFFER NO PROTECTION - you are incorrect. I also wear Fox protective armor over the top - think chaps for off-road. The Fox protective armor goes well with these pants - I have not found a better set up if you want to be a responsible motorcyclist. The attitude that you do not need anything, but the bike -- will get you messed up rapidly. Check out motocross helmets even if you are riding a silly big old bagger cruiser - save ya life dudes! ... show more

In short, the material feels nice and is very flexible. However, the sizes are off, not only in length but as well as the hip. It was a bit too large for me. The material look flimsy on the inside, and the slots for the ce armor do not match where it needs to be for full protection. I do not reccomend on buying this, even as a cheaper substitute. Go look on revzilla or find another pair, I will be returning these. Oh and a part of the button clip was never sowed on, so no attention to detail during manufacturing. ... show more

Sizing is pretty much right on. However, the knee pad pouch cover has no keeper to hold it in place while riding so the knee pad cover rides upward from the wind of the bike over the knees. There should be some velcro or a few snaps to hold the pad cover in place. Second, the bottom of the legs are so thin and tapered as to nearly prevent the legs from being able to pull over riding boots. It is possible however, as the legs are very stretchable so they go over the boot tops but when legs are straightened the trouser bottoms do not slide down over the boot tops--they remain suspended near the tops of the boots, which is not good.
