I want so badly to give this 5 stars. The cup itself is excellent. - you must hand wash or soak. I learned the hard way on other cups like this that the hot and cold doesn't stay and they sweat after using the dishwasher, so please don't. I have been hand washing, and so there is no sweating. The hot stays hot for atleast a couple hours (I can't make a cup of coffee last too long, lol), and I'd say the ice did not melt, and drink stayed cold all day (I did refills a few times during that time, but did not really need more ice). I am mainly using this for cold, and only used hot to test for this review. One thing I especially like, besides the weight and the logo, is that you can drink from it without a lid if you want. A lot of cups like this aren't made for that. You snap the lid on instead of screwing it on and that may be why. I don't know for sure if any of the time lengths of staying hot or cold change a lot if not using it tho. My one issue, but big enough for me to drop 1 star: The lid does not stay closed. It wiggles open a tiny bit (I've tried every way I can think of to fix that). This is enough to make liquid spill out when you turn it up to drink. I held it upside down over sink and it dribbled heavily. I am picky about my lids. I have several coffee thermos's, and won't use them because they spit when opening etc, and I do not like lids that don't fully seal. There is a point to them being able to be closed. Most reviews around here don't act like they've actually used the product (maybe a gift) so that is probably why they don't know or didn't mention. (not griping, just saying that if I hadn't tried it, the weight, visuals, size, etc.. would make it 5 stars). If you are very careful, and aware ahead of time, this may not be an issue. Other notes: the shape is great in that it comes in at the bottom, so it can easily fit in your cup holders. I am not a red person, but am a Bama person, and the red is perfect. Possibly could be a tiny bit darker, but thats just opinion. I only wish it had a fully closing lid (wish I could show the lid on my hubby's cup. its similar, but they used a different material to make it stay closed and this should be like that, at this price point. You want perfect when giving something like this as a gift) I think a 4.2 stars is fair. ... show more

The tumbler size is just right for keeping my flavored water fresh from morning all the way through a chaotic afternoon, and it’s fun to carry around since it lets me show off my favorite team everywhere I go. The double-wall, vacuum-insulated design really does keep drinks cold for hours, even when I forget it in the car. I haven’t timed how long the ice lasts, but so far, no regrets.
