Substantial rope! I have connected to a large eye hook in our 2nd floor loft bedroom and stored on the floor in a basket (the attached hook makes this simple). Is as an escape option in case of a fire as it’s over 20’ to the ground through loft exterior door (eventually to small deck to be built). Strong enough to hold the largest person, thick enough to allow for a controlled decent. Perfect solution. This rope is similar to the big thick ropes I remember from my gym class when I was a kid. I suspect because of insurance concerns now a days, climbing a rope to the gymnasium ceiling is no longer taught or permitted. Boo hoo. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was easy to throw around a tree limb and through the loop provided. It’s super stiff and heavy duty. Warning for odor sensitivity people it stinks like gasoline or oil or something that it is treated with. Still learning to climb efficiently but glad I have it for Spartan training.
