The media could not be loaded. i feel like a kid again after using this thing to climb in and out of my landlord's tree! it's pretty easy to get this thing up on a branch and take it down again using the "lasso" hanging method of looping the rope through itself, so i take it down when im done using it and keep it in a bucket. it's plenty strong and doesnt hurt your hands much. i recommend hanging it close to the trunk of a tree so you can use your legs to spiderman up the side, because climbing a rope completely unsupported is more than most human beings can do. you'll still get a great workout, trust me ... show more

Got 4 of them. Holding up for now but the rubber that is glued on to the ends does not seem like it will last. So far in the first few months it has been fine. For the money I thought it would be more “perfect”.

I'm sending this piece of garbage, terribly engineered rope, back to Amazon. I'm getting my full money in return because this atrocious piece of literal trash is so poorly designed you can't even get the hook/knot to the top of the tree. The metal hook that the knot is formed through is too small. The hook & the metal piece that the hook is attached to at the top end of the rope is too small to simply pull the rope from the ground to get the knot/hook to the top where it belongs. It just gets caught on every single spiral of the rope as seen in the first picture. No matter how hard I tried to pull down on the bottom of the rope, the hook would not budge from that spot. I had to climb a ladder that only gets me halfway to the top just to pull the hook at an angle that prevented it from getting caught. But since the ladder won't reach the top of the tree, nor would I even bother trying to get up that high on a ladder, the hook stays caught on the rope and won't go any further up. I even tried to oil the entire hook and the backstop where the hook attaches to the rope and it did absolutely nothing. Worthless product. The only way this would even be worth buying is if you had a 10ft rope and could easily climb a ladder to get the knot up as high as it needs to be. This is a 30ft rope that was going to be mounted to a ~30ft tree and there's no way for me to get this up safely and securely. I would honestly love to have a conversation with the dumb engineer who designed this piece of literal worthless garbage and ask them why they didn't just make the hook bigger. If I could give this product 0 stars I would. ... show more
