I don't have a pain or comfort issue so I couldn't really tell if it made a difference for those situations but it was perfect for a little more height. I have a chevy z71 short wide bed regular cab. The seats are HARD! I tried the cushions with the memory foam, and the ones with the gel, (about 3 inches thick) the ones with the waffle paterns, none were satisfactory. This one is a bit pricy but it is very comfortable and you don't even know it's there. I AM PLANNING ON BUYING ANOTHER ONE. I would definitely buy again. ... show more

This cushion is for my car. It is comfortable.I haven’t figured out how to secure it in the back so it does slide forward but not too much. It arrived folded up in plastic. When unfolded the fabric was quite wrinkled. Not sure if they will come out.

Stayed in place, comfortable but intention was lift of an older car seat with broken down springs. Wish it had been an inch or two thicker. May add a gel cushion underneath. As a stanalone was very good! Wider also than my previous attempts.
