I'm going to start-off by copping to something - I'm not a skater. In truth, I bought this board to hang-up as as art on my wall. Yes, I know this makes me a poser and maybe it seems like heresy to many of you, but I have other boards hung-up as well and the art on the bottom of each makes them a great piece. Also, it gives my apartment an air of insouciance and whimsy that I really like. Life doesn't have to be all modern business looking all the time! But to the board. First, the top and back of the board have a wonderful design and the bottom shows a wonderful vista of a red sun rising over the horizon. It's varnished and looks great on my wall, definitely catches the eye. I also like the top of the board and may rotate it from time to time, the technicolor look is old, but coming back in-style these days. The retro-futurist color scheme fits with many types of home décor - from California bum style to modern anachronist. As for the actual riding of it, well I'm not a pro but it seemed to work well. The wheels are solid and strong and, while slowly riding it in my hallway there was very low wiggle when I got on and off the board. The axles were solid and the board didn't make any creaking or groaning when I (175lbs) stepped on it. It rolled smoothly as well, though I'm not sure how it would do over uneven ground as it is decently long. It seems great as a riding board and excellent as an art piece, so 5 stars from me. Looking forward to the comments future paramours will make when seeing my display piece!

I have a couple longboards which I enjoy riding, one of which is electric, and despite enjoying the opportunity to be lazy and let a board pull me around, there's really no comparison to kicking a board down the street. I'd say I'm a fairly mellow rider these days, I'm not out there doing big tricks, and for me longboarding is more of a laid-back kind of ride and to that end, the Chinchiller has been killer. Pros: - SMOOTH: If I had to use one word to describe the ride, it's smooth. - Nice graphics that match the name of the board. - Symmetrical deck which has just a bit of flex, great in the turns. - Wheels are nice and grippy, but super smooth rolling. - Great overall size, I wear a size 12 in Vans (see picture for scale). Cons: - None Note, at 200lbs the trucks are adjusted a bit on the soft side out of the box, so depending on your build you might need to do a little tightening, otherwise unpack and start riding. Overall, this is fantastic board that is a hit across the, uh, board. It is a good looking board with a responsive deck, smooth grippy wheels and it is an absolute pleasure to ride. I would hands down recommend this to anyone who rides longboards or is looking to start.

This board is butter. Just absolute flow, smooth rolling, and a pleasure to ride. It's size is perfect for a one board quiver as it is both maneuverable but stable at high speeds. I like the longer wheelbase (21") as it is a bit more versatile for a variety of needs (Those short wheelbase boards can really throw you off if you aren't careful.) This size wheelbase is also perfectly sized for a surfskate build. Not only that, but the general shape of the board is great for surfskating. It has just enough concave to really lock my feet in. I like the rounded, more mellow double kick setup. It lends itself well to tricks if that's your jam. The reverse kingpin trucks offer a pretty excellent carving ability though if you are thinking of going the surfskate route you'll likely want normal kingpin trucks. Long story short this board has me ready to drop all of my other boards and just revel in the simplicity but adaptability of this board. It can do so many things well and is just a pleasure to ride. I'd recommend it!

This is my sons’ fourth long board and he really likes it a lot. He says that it offers a much better grip on the top surface than his other boards. Turning is excellent and while he doesn’t do a lot of stunts, he feels confident that this board will allow that, if one is so inclined. The performance of the wheels, axles and trucks is excellent.

Very impressed with how well son was able to adjust and gain confidence on this board. Has regular size boards that he used occasionally but this one has had daily use. Speed and coordination improved immediately. Big difference in this board and so glad we tried it

This is the best board we have had, it does invoke quality from every piece. This is a long board, very flexible so you need to know where to put your feet. The surface is roughs like a sand paper, very coarse, with really good grip. Wheels are soft but sturdy, and gives a very pleasant and smooth ride. This is not a beginners board, it requires some practice because is so well set it is like it was able to ride by itself. Color patter is nice and discrete, nothing too screaming. Really nice equipment, meant to give the ride of your life.

The thing that attracted me to this board was that it's technically a longboard even at 34" but has the functionality to do tricks. I'm not at the tricks-performing level quite yet but I can say that for general cruising and commuting, this board is just incredible. It handles cracks in sidewalks with no problem. It turns very easily. And dang this thing is fast. I admit, I can only compare it with a 31" Tony Hawk skateboard I got on clearance at a big box store. My old board feels like an old Toyota beater compared to this new Lexus of a longboard. Couldn't be more thrilled. It lives up to the hype for sure.
