These collars are bright, nice sturdy quality and cute. However, they are NOT breakaway! I got these to put on the stray cats I feed, but sadly I won't be using them because I worry if they were to get caught in a bush or something they won't be able to break away. The only way to release them is physically pressing the release, and even then it's not so simple. Maybe these could be okay for small puppies and MAYBE indoor cats, but even then my indoor cat only wears breakaways, even though she's never had an issue with getting caught on anything. Better safe than sorry.

I have several pets and this set of 12 is wonderful! They can have different colors and there are even enough that I can switch them out occasionally. The colors are vibrant and they are strong. They each have a bell on them, but they are easy to detach if you chose.

These cat & puppy collars don’t even deserve 1 star! They claim that they’re the collars that snap open if your pet got caught on something but they DON’T!! In other snap open collars I have purchased they open very easily because sometimes after a good kitten roll-around- the- floor play time, I’ve found collars on the floor, which means that one kitten grabbed the other one & pulled her collar off- now that’s snap open. These collars claim that they’re snap open but that’s impossible because there are 2 little pieces that hold the collar from opening & I even had trouble opening the snap- if a cap or puppy got hung on something or they were playing too hard that snap would never open-a person has to push the 2 little pieces on the clasp to open it & by then it could be too late!
