It is form-fitting, with a decent amount of stretch so it's easy to get on. Not a ton of stretch--no lycra or elastane. It runs true to size; for a looser fit, do size up. Love the color and softness of these tops. I bought a few colors and have washed them. I usually dry tops half-way and hang them on a hanger so that I don’t have to iron. They turned out great and maintained perfect color. They do run a little bit short, but I have a short torso so they are fine. I also wear tank tops that are longer than the shirt so that helps too. They are lightweight and I never feel too hot and when I wear them. Great layering, piece or worn alone. Not horrible. Ya know the feeling of fabric that you just know is gonna stretch out and not regain its shape? This is that shirt. I kept it because I was in a pinch before a trip. Keep looking if you want a "forever" piece for yiur wardrobe. It ran a little big as well, so size down as well.

I love these shirts! I'll definitely be buying more of them in other colors. I've bought two so far. A couple things I enjoy: -the weight; they're not heavy I would say more of a medium weight, so they're not super clingy and fit the silhouette well. -the fit; they're also long enough in the torso (which I always have trouble finding) so they're easy to layer with sweaters with a little peeking out from the bottom, for a cohesive look -the 'mock' turtleneck design; I'm not always a fan of that tight sensation around my neck.. though I know not everyone enjoys mock neck style. I'll definitely be buying more in different colors! I bought one in pale olive and a second one in the dark blue navy color. One downside-- the "rose brick" one wasn't rose at all, more of a terracotta color.. Cute, but not in my color season. Won't stop me from buying more, but I would check the pictures from other reviews to be sure the color is what you're expecting. ... show more

Update: this has become my favorite go-to top. I did go to a size XXL and ordered a couple more colors. It's so easy to wear under a sweater or blazer or sweatshirt. The short sleeves don't need fiddling with after I pull on a sweater, and i really love not having to deal with multiple long sleeves. The fabric is comfortable to wear. So happy I found these! ______________ This is a lovely top for cooler weather. Very comfortable and soft. Will be easy to pair with jackets and sweaters. This is a very fitted top, which makes it easy to layer. I am 200 lbs 5'4 and an XL top is usually loose on top and tighter on the bottom bc of my hips. This top is fitted top to bottom, but is stretchy, so doesn't feel suffocating, however, I am going to order an XXL to see if that is a little less fitted on me and would be comfortable wearing on its own.
