The velcro strap stayed fastened with no issues, but if you have a chunkier top of your foot, these may not work for you.

I have been getting so many compliments, these have become my favorite shoe now. My boss even told me he loved them and he's a straight man with a wife and adult kids. Beautiful emerald color. Very true to size (I wear a 8.5 in sneakers, got the same size, no rubbing on the back of my heel, no blisters) Comes with a foot pad for the ball of your foot but I lost it immediately in my car, but I haven't had any foot pain without them and I NEVER wear heels. Walked up stairs, down the street and through my house with them, and have been wearing them all day at work. The bottoms are slippery, but a little scuffing on the street and they are fine. Be aware that these ARE velvet. They will take on any scuffs and pressure places from where they rest against the ground while you sit/cross your legs. But I have been able to brush them with a hand and fix it with no issue. Velcro works well. Can't even see it as you walk around. Did have the velcro pop open when getting in my car but I was putting a good amount of pressure on it while twisting my foot. Easy to tighten and close again. Heel is very stable.

Despite my critical perspective, I am giving this shoe a 5-star rating for its superb comfort and style. It excels as a piece of casual wear, adding ease to your everyday look. The only drawback is the velcro. The adhesive properties are not as strong as one might hope, creating a minor hindrance in the overall use. This is a basic design flaw that needs to be improved upon. Despite this hiccup, the shoe still ranks high on value and charm.

I’m giving these 4 stars for their overall comfort and wearability. They have a very gentle feel—while they aren’t "zero gravity" slippers, they definitely have much less foot drama than other heels I’ve worn. If you add your own cushions, they’re even friendlier on your toes. The flexibility is a huge plus. These aren't those stiff, unforgiving heels that make you feel like you're walking on stilts; they have a nice bit of give so you can actually move naturally. The fit is true to size—no "Cinderella stepsister" squeeze here. Just order your usual size and you should be golden. Regarding arch support, since it’s a lower kitten heel, it's not like standing on a skyscraper. The support is decent for this style, though it's obviously not orthopedic level. Overall, a great choice for style without the typical heel pain!

Beautiful shoes! I got the red velvet ones. The color is a very bright red. Like the reddest red to ever red. It is difficult to match to other reds. I've mostly worn them with black with red accents. These are head turners though. I wore them for Valentine's Day and got five compliments from strangers! They are comfortable and easy to walk in for heels. They close with velcro. Watch your stockings or tights on the rough side. The soles are a bit slick. I ran an emery board on them and scuffed up the bottoms on my driveway before wearing them out. I'm back looking at other colors.

Description should say suede. It doesn’t. Bows are crooked and already coming off. I haven’t had the shoes on yet. They came today. Velcro is weak and cheapens the look of the shoes. Pictures show more of a blocked heel and it is a kitten heel.
