The purse looks great, if you like sweatshirts, which I do! The picture and the description on the web site are exact. The Alabama logo is extremely nice as well. The bag measures approximately 16w x 10H x 5D, and the straps are about 11" from the top of the bag. This is perfect for me, as I am 5'4" and the purse fits comfortably on my shoulder and doesn't hang past my hip like most do, and I can rest my arm across it and hold on to it easily and comfortably. Because of the material, it can hold much more than you would think, as it will stretch. It is made well and is durable, as I have used it every day for 3 weeks, I carry the heavy metal mesh wallet, checkbook, cosmetic bag, etc. (4 lbs.), and the purse has maintained its shape and the straps are holding up really well, to my surprise. I also like the fact that the bottom is solid enough that the bag will stand up when placed on a table and not just flop over. The snap closure is ideal for me, but you can use the draw string to close the bag up completely, if you like. The opening is also ideal, as it opens really wide for easy access to all your items. The only down side is, I wish it had a zip compartment inside instead of the open pocket, that's just my preference; as the pocket is at least 7" wide and really roomy. Do notice the picture...where the straps start at the bottom they look uneven. I didn't notice this before and when I got it, I thought it wasn't sewn well. However, I realized this was for the appearance of a sweatshirt and not a defect. I recently bought an expensive leather bag with the FSU logo engraved on the front (Yes, I love both teams), and it's really nice, but I think I prefer this one! I may even get one with the FSU logo on it! So, obviously, I do recommend this to everyone! By the way, I am 59 years young, and have gotten lots of compliments on it, so don't worry that it looks like a bag that only a young person would carry! Hope this helps! 16,10 5 ... show more
