This is for kids 2-5; my son just turned 2, weighs 30lbs. The edge of the truck hits the wheels when he sits on it. He loves it and doesn’t care but I’m sure as he gets bigger it eventually won’t move 🫤

This is a fun little toy garbage truck, and is a neat idea... but there's some design issues. Starting with the good. There's a horn (a lot of toys like this don't have that...), the cabin, seat and rear are all hollow and can hold things/open up - my son especially likes the back hatch, and enjoys dropping things through the top hole. It's largely a durable toy, and can handle a young child's weight and abuse. The not-so-good. The seat hatch does not stay propped up when opened up. The back hatch doesn't either...The little garbage-can lift is a cool idea, but in practice it binds/jams up very easily, requires quite a bit of precision and force to snap onto the track to begin with, and just doesn't work well. The trash can does not stay nested in the hole very well. Still, it's very fun, and at a decent price. Made in China. ... show more

First and foremost this isn't a driving vehicle and the kid has to physically move it and turn it, it's a push car. Trash bin is located under the seat. Both of my kids love it, even though the 5yo is a bit big for it but she likes helping her brother with dumping the trash/their cars with the bin. It's fun for them and allows them to use their imagination and body muscles in order to play with it. ... show more

There’s one thing I want mention about this product that I feel should be made clear prior to purchasing. The wheel is just for show, it does not steer the garbage truck. While the wheel does spin around, and the horn makes a squeaking sound when you hit it, the wheel axle is fixed, and does not turn. The wheel isn’t actually attached to anything, just spins. This caused some initial frustration and confusion for my three-year-old as he’s used to driving his battery operated ATV and little tikes manual truck where the wheel is actually functional. He got over this fairly quickly and was OK with just picking it up at adjusting the direction. The hardest part about assembly was cutting the zip ties that attach the truck to the packaging. My three-year-old absolutely loves this. He loves the garbage truck, it was so excited when this came in. Just FYI the dumpster is under the seat so don’t panic when you open it and can’t find it. My son has been having a blast driving this around our house, picking up trash, and taking it to the “dump”. Is little sister is nearly one and has been having fun pushing it around when her brother isn’t using it.
