I ordered the medium gray canopy for my son and he LOVES it! There are 2 layers in this canopy: the thicker colored fabric inside, then the white “mosquito net” on the outside. The inner fabric layer of the medium canopy can’t completely encircle a twin bed, but the mesh layer can. This is perfect for my son as the fabric layer covers more than half of his bed but still lets him see out through the open area. If my son is inside the canopy with bright lights on I can see the lights but not much detail, so the fabric is decent thickness. The canopy was really wrinkled when it arrived but the wrinkles are slowly coming out. It comes with a white plastic “plate” with a hook for hanging, with double-sided adhesive and some screws. I used the adhesive and the screws, and the instructions say to let it adhere for 24 hours before hanging the canopy which is what I did. The canopy is quite heavy but the hanger and plate support it well. You can adjust the height of the canopy by tying a knot in various places on the fabric strap attached to the top of the canopy. I have 9 feet ceilings but I hung the canopy a couple feet below the ceiling. The canopy comes to the floor with plenty extra fabric pooled on the floor, so I could easily hang it flush to the ceiling and it would still cover the bed. The included lights are bright and run on either batteries or USB. I just wish the canopy came with some hooks or something to hang the lights on, either around the top or inside of the canopy. That’s really my only complaint and it’s a small one since my son arranged the lights on top of his mattress instead. I am very happy with this canopy, and now my daughter wants one too! I'm in love with this canopy! The double layer of material gives it a luxurious feel that is unmatched, and it really makes the quality stand out. The included lights are a great addition, they give it an enchanted touch that is perfect for creating a magical atmosphere in any space. I turned this canopy into a cozy reading nook in my playroom, but it would also be perfect for adding a touch of elegance to a toddler or twin sized bed. When I first received it, it was a bit wrinkled, but I simply used a handheld garment steamer and it looked perfect in no time. The included sticky hook piece that secures to the ceiling was a lifesaver! It made set up super easy and I didn't have to put any screws in my ceiling. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that if you have cats, they may ruin it. Unfortunately, my cats snuck into the room and within just five minutes, they had caught themselves up in the netting and tore a hole in it. Luckily, there is ample material, so the hole isn't noticeable to the naked eye unless you're really looking for it. Overall, I'm thrilled with this canopy and highly recommend it to anyone looking to add a touch of magic to their space! ... show more
