This thing is awesome! I used it in my drill to remove an ABS toilet flange. I had to cut the flange out from the inside and this did the trick! It does get pretty hot and will melt abs and pvc if you don't take your time though. Still, i had no issues. I recommend using a drill with different speeds so you can slow it down. However, because I was curious, I also used my impact drill for part of the cut to see how it would perform. Still worked great. Just remember to take your time or the plastic you are cutting will melt. The bits are sharp! I feel like they will last a pretty long time. Can't beat this kit for the price! Highly recommended.

I used this tool to shorten an ABS pipe that was to long. The previous homeowner left the ABS pipe too long and I could not fit the shower drain cover down into the flange. This tool made short work of a unique job.

Orient the blade so it tightens the screw when you cut. Begin cuts very slowly due to the kickback. Keep a firm grip on the drill to maintain control. After the blade digs in, move slowly to avoid hopping as the teeth bite into the plastic. This is extremely well made and very very sharp. Be careful! Comes with a nice little box and bag. If you need one of these, this is the one to get because it has stainless steel fittings, a robust screw, a star washer, a solid washer, plus extra blades.

I used these to cut down some PVC pipes that were in/under ground and needed to be shortened to add some drain caps. I ended up going through 2 blades on x5 PVC pipes (4inchj diameter). They got the job done, but would not expect them to dull down on just plastic.
