This works great on my MacBook Pro 14" M1-Pro! I took a chance and I am happy I did. Even though this model of Mac can charge via a USB C port, I don't always want to do that. I don't want to over use the port connection to possibly weaken it over time, potentially damage the port via accidents while a cable is connected, or, in any way, stress internal components by charging via USB C -- as this is a secondary charge option. MacBook users have eagerly awaited the return of MagSafe and so that is what I intend to use. It really is the best and safest way to charge your MacBook. This cable can take up to a 140Watts for fast charging, and it appears to be well constructed, albeit in a slightly more robust/bulky design over the OEM. It works great with my UGREEN 65Watt Charger, or The BASEUS 100W charger. I hardly ever use the bulky OEM Bricks that Apple puts in the box. In Fact, I usually sell those off. ... show more

I really like the fact that I paid a fraction of what Apple would charge for its version of the same product, and it still does exactly what it is supposed to do. My MacBook has no issues at all with it, whether it’s charging fully or idling on a trickle charge. The performance is impressive, and I haven’t experienced any problems or compatibility issues. It’s reassuring to know that I can rely on this product without having to pay the premium price Apple demands for similar accessories. The savings alone make it a great purchase, but the functionality and reliability seal the deal. I’m so satisfied with this product that I would definitely buy another one if needed. It offers excellent value for the money and meets all my needs perfectly. Product does the job as advertised, charges my MBP on my high output charger just fine. Only real complaint is the magnet is not nearly as strong as the OEM cable. Maybe 50% the strength.
