  • This stuff is great!
Color: Black Size: Driveway Kit with Asphalt Patch
Very easy to apply if you are just careful, put it on the lid and apply with a brush like paste. Geotextile will help eliminate cracks and seal up window exterior in your foundation.

  • it work but only little 😂
Color: Black Size: 1 Gallon
I used this to patch a few cracks in my driveway that were starting to collect water. The texture was thicker than I expected, but it went on smoothly with a trowel. What I liked most is that it didn’t have a strong smell, and I didn’t need any fancy tools. After a couple of days, it dried to a solid finish that’s been holding up well, even after some heavy rain. It blends in pretty well with the asphalt too—not perfect, but not an eyesore either. I just wanted something that worked without a lot of hassle, and this did the job. ... show more

  • Seems a bit expensive but easy to use and works great
Color: Black Size: 1 Gallon
I wasn't quite sure what to expect with this. It's called Asphalt patch, but the brand is liquid rubber - I wasn't sure if it was going to be a rubber patch, or something you paint on. This is literally a bucket of asphalt - it's not for asphalt roofs or anything like that. It's just a bucket of slightly wet asphalt, primarily intended for patching roads and driveways. The instructions on the bucket are clear and simple, and the videos provided help even further. But it's very straightforward, and a simple DIY project. Simply clean out the hole or crack in need of repair, apply some of this Asphalt Patch, tamp it down firmly, and allow to dry. It can be applied in just about any temperature - from freezing, to over 100 degrees. On average it takes about 24 hours to dry, but there is no single rule to this. Small holes might be dry in as little as 2-4 hours, but larger holes may take 72 hours. Also humid climates may take longer. My application was a small hole (about 5 inches x 10 inches) of asphalt street where it meets my concrete driveway. I applied it around 5pm on a hot summer day. The patch was dry, hard, and permanent by the next morning. You will need a spade or something to apply it with. And you will need something to tamp it with - even just an old 2x4 would work fine. Those are all the tools needed for most situations. There are a few special instructions. You must clean the hole or crack as much as you can - dust and loose debris will prevent good adhesion. Also you shouldn't apply more than 2 inches thick at a time - if you have a deep hole, apply 2 inches, wait until dry, then add another layer. Layering is fine, it will adhere to itself and won't compromise durability. This tub can be resealed in between uses. They are not very specific on the shelf life, but after using and observing the product, here is my guess - I estimate that the shelf life of the unopened container is about 12 months. After opening, I suggest you try to use the contents within a few weeks before it dries out. If your opened bucket gets old and dried out before your next project, there may be options. Simply mixing it up rigorously may help reactivate it. Also exposure to heat or direct sunlight for a few hours may reactivate it. My bucket isn't old, so I have not had the opportunity to try these methods, but I hope you find this tip helpful nonetheless and I think it's worth a shot. Once the product is dry it seems as durable - or even more durable - than the original asphalt. After it's dry it's black, looks just like one would expect, just like new asphalt typically looks. It will undoubtedly be darker than the asphalt you're patching - it's not going to be an invisible repair. It's more expensive than I thought it would be, but it's a good quality product in a convenient tub and easy to use. ... show more

  • Fairly fine sediment goes in easily. Packs tightly.
Color: Black Size: 1 Gallon
You can see the pictures I included for more details on my project. Basically, I have large cracks in the asphalt in front of my driveway. Not only does it look bad, but weeds grow there. To prep the area, I first used a shop vac to remove all of the dirt and sediment in the cracks. I then went back with a tool and scraped it again to get any other semi-loose material the vac couldn't dislodge. Then I vacuumed one last time. The instructions say to stir this with a trowel, but honestly, the easist way is take the bag out the pail and just massage it. The product is fine enough that it easily mixes. The instructions also say not to let the product extend past the area you're filling, which is hard to do with you're laying it in with a trowel. My recommendation is to take the bag out of the bucket. Then, pour the product back into the bag-less bucket. That makes it much easier to shake into a narrow line. Once laid, I recommend going back with your trowel and, using the shart edge, poking it down into the product to make sure it fully sets in the hole before you pound it down. Last step, pound it down. I have a 10-lb tool with a flat piece of iron on the bottom specifically for tamping, but you can use a board and hammer too. Your foot isn't not good enough. We'll see how well it holds up. Coverage: Expect to be able to fill a hole 1" w x 1" deep and about 8' long. ... show more

  • Not the Cheapest Asphalt Patch, but Offers Easy Application and Great Results
Color: Black Size: 1 Gallon
Rob's Rapid Reviews! Pros: -Asphalt patching can be applied cold with no mixing -Simple to apply with little-to-no mess -Cures (dries) in 24 hours -Looks good and lasts a while so long as you've prepped the area properly and seal it afterwards Cons: -Expensive compared to competing products Verdict: If you have a patch in your asphalt in need of filling, you can't go wrong with this item so long as you're willing to pay a premium price. That said, you do get what you pay for with these types of products. ... show more

  • Convenient and good quality for small patches
Color: Black Size: 1 Gallon
First off this is not what I was expecting to get. But that being said it's still worked as intended. This is a liquid patch and is of good quality. If you have some small cracks or even a small divot in blacktop this product should work fairly well. This is definitely not designed to fill pot holes. Like any liquid tar substance it is messy be prepared wear gloves and wear your PPE. If you do multiple coats you can adjust the thickness. The quick drying time is convenient since you will be adding multiple coats. I would say it is a good value for your money if you're only doing small repairs. All in all I do recommend this for small cracks small divots or small imperfections in blacktop. I would not recommend this for any sizable pothole or a large break in blacktop. ... show more
