I got this Practice Hand for Acrylic Nails for my teenage niece as a present. I opened it to make sure it was what I ordered before I give it to her. Here's my take on it: - This hand looks freakishly realistic. Its got all the little lines and pores. - It is extremely posable. It bends every which way with ease and holds the shape. - The coloring is good but in some lights the color of the palm especially looks a little grey/dead/spooky. - That combined with the ability to bend and distort the fingers in unnatural ways had me creeped out for a second - If not being used for nails you could easily use this in an art project or short film/animation, halloween, or prank your friend. - The cuticles are very pliable and seems like it would be easy to slide in the nails. I'm not sure how that affects holding the nail in though. If it were an issue I think you could probably use some light adhesive or something like liquid latex skin to help hold it. - The bendy arm was easy to pop on and seemed snug when pushed all the way in. I didn't attach it to the table clip because I did not want to tear open that bag. - The hand feels kind of like skin but it does have that tacky rubberiness to it so dust/fuzzies/pet hair sticks to it. I tried to brush it off and then it picked up more hairs. - You could get it off with a quick rinse but I can see how there may be an issue if you're trying to use wet polish. I imagine there is some kind of sealer or release powder or something made for this problem - Ooop! A quick internet search says to make a thick paste of water and baking soda, smear it on like frosting, let it dry for a few hours/overnight until its hard and then rinse with warm water, that should solve the issue. - I will try this with my niece once she opens it. Overall - it looks great. I hope she likes it too.

It’s a great value for your money. It’s very durable. The texture is nice. It’s great quality looks so real. I just don’t like the fact that if you drill a nail and the dust flies it sticks to the hand, but like somebody said, you can spray it with water and wipe it off. It does come with Nails some of them don’t fit. Overall easy to use.

Looks like a real hand. Just started to practice on it and the only thing that I’m struggling with is keeping the nails in and not popping off when I’m filing them.

i’ve had this practice hand for a few months now and its pretty good the only things that are not so good is the hand collecting a lot of dust, and the nail tips provided always slip put of the hand durning application.

Product feels good quality, however, the fingers are too flimsy to file the nails on. The handles also does not stay up when you have it on the stand.

I just unboxed this practice hand and I cannot believe how realistic it is. The fingers move around very easily and the tips that come with it are really nice tips. You do have to push them all the way in and they do stay. I have not practiced on it yet, but I do have a feeling they will stay while filing the nails. I wish I had a practice hand like this while I was in beauty school getting my manicurist license. It is well worth the money. By the way, I use my husband‘s profile so he’s not the manicurist, I am.
