Everyone needs this desk. I don't wfh but I'm in college and I needed an affordable desk desperately. The quality is amazing and it looks great in my space. It took a couple hours to put together, but it wasn't hard, just a lot of pieces. It's super sturdy and the wood pieces look and feel like actual wood. It feels expensive but its so affordable. first off, we bought two. they were both packaged, somewhat poorly leading to one have a couple bent pieces. easy to assemble., supposed to be reversible. not quite. there just isnt a front vs back. the USB plug is in one corner, if you build with the shelves to left its on the back corner opposite the shelf. if you build with the shelves on the right, its in the front corner opposite the shelf. The only thing that determines front to back is where you bolt the cross support and which side you put the drawer rails (which direction the draw pulls out.) due to the placement of the USB power supply, the LED light power cable is a bit short. its stretched pretty tight, even in the picture in the instruction book. wouldve been better with the power supply under the shelf. the only other issue is the drawer. its not solid. its made of fabric and cardboard. ... show more

It’s pretty good for what you paid for and I’ll be using this for a WFH setup. I like the versatile peg boards and I’m glad I got two. As for assembling, I have no idea why someone said it only took them an hour to put together, it took me 2.5 hours from just figuring out what is what. The instruction manual did have some typos and the first few steps are the most difficult. Like everyone else on the cosmetics, I wish the actual vinyl pattern on the desk didn’t have weird scratches. ... show more

I was looking for a sturdy, affordable desk that was easy to put together and lightweight so I could move it by myself. This fit the bill. I couldn’t afford the navy desks I was seeing online, so I “flipped” this one instead. I bought the black one, then spray painted the metal gold, spray painted the wood gloss navy, and then added 1960’s gold star handles to the two drawers. It turned out perfect! It took me about an hour to put together. Must admit I’m not the best with written instructions but if you are you may like the way you can chose for light to be on right or left side or get to choose from 3 different place to actually place the peg board. I chose horizontal under the light so I have a little window but also a barrier for things falling off desk. Very cozy. Comes with little Allen wrenches but you may like a power drill for 1 or 2 parts. Would have been quicker if mine had arrived the day I built this. Regardless this is a great buy for wfh or school and I enjoy the LED lighting. I did not peel the sticky paper off so I can replace light easier whenever the time comes. ... show more
