SO CUTE!! The directions were a little confusing at first but once you get the hang of it, it was pretty easy to put together. Do not try to make this by hand because the screws are very hard to get in. Even with my electric drill they were a bit tough, but I’m at 5’1”girl and managed to put this together all by myself. Very pretty and seems sturdy so far. Based on reviews I called in for backup for assembly and boy am I glad I did. My FIL and I are both handy people and it took us 4 hours to get it all together. There was also one piece where the holes were in the wrong spot. That said I do love it. The table was sliding whenever my kids would get in and out of the booth so I bought some Velcro strips and put those on the floor and table legs and that has worked like a charm. ... show more

This set is so perfect. It is sturdy, well built, made of wood, which surprised us. It looks great, fits perfectly and does all we need. THAT BEING SAID, it is a nightmare to put together. Holes are misaligned or not drilled completely as deep as needed. Two people are needed to put together. We both worked construction, and were frustrated putting this set together. But, the struggle was worth it, if you like the look of the set. We wanted it for a small corner dining room set. And it fits well, looks great and we love it. ... show more

There are two ways to assemble on the manual but did not address very clearly. We started and realized until in the middle that it was a different direction. Horrible! I got one box today with just the table and chairs. But no hardware or instructions. The box with those are coming 8 days from now. What the heck!! This is ridiculous! I want my money back!

Overall the table worked perfectly for my kitchen space and I’m obsessed! But the process of putting it together took 6 hours!!! And was very difficult. The directions manual wasn’t descriptive as it should’ve been. There were areas where it got confusing on which way the pieces should be screwed onto each other and on a few steps in needed to be unscrewed and recorrected. If there were written instructions it wouldn’t have been an issue or if the wood pieces were labeled A,B,C,D and shown in the picture instructions that would’ve made it easier as well. So if you don’t want to deal with the anger and frustrations of putting it together pay for the assembly fee or buy a prebuilt table. Other than the building issues I love it! This set is amazing!!! It’s sturdy yet light weight. I don’t know why people are complaining about the difficulty of assembly. Granted it takes a couple of hours to do it right but it’s no worse than any flat box furniture I’ve assembled in the past. We couldn’t be happier!
