If you are going from ties to slip ons then you should probably go down at least half a size so they aren’t loose. Overall nice shoe for a wide foot. Easy to get on and off.

These were widely comfortable. I had not tapped in a long time and bought these for an adult tap class I was taking. I showed up and three of the other women in the class had the same ones! They are very stretchy (I have wide feet) and I did not need to break them in at all. I have been wearing them weekly and have never gotten a blister or been uncomfortable in them. Got these in order to participate in a local community theater show. Had no issues. Breaking in required. I'm pretty sure I have the right size for me, and it sometimes felt loose around my foot. A smaller size would have likely pinched my toes. No complaints for just having fun.
