I originally bought the grey stripe and loved it. I wanted to have a 2nd one so when I wash the one I have it can have time to air dry. I bought the thinner blue stripe for variety. First of all, it has more of a faded blue jean blue, not a baby blue. It really like the color in my dark blue bedroom. And the material is slightly more durable / thicker than the one I have today. I actually like the blue stripe even better than the grey strip. I buy the oversized king. Love the size! And love the feel of the thin blue stripe. UPDATE: Just came back to buy a 3rd one of these. Wow the reviews are all over the place. I just want to say that I wash mine every 2 weeks (alternating between the two comforters). They still look brand new. They must not all be created equally. As I mention above, even the blue stripe vs grey stripe are totally different material. I do not find this overly warm. It's very light. So those "hot" reviews seem odd as well. I purchased two of these. One for me and one for my daughter. These comforters are really comfortable and lightweight for summer use. Looking forward to see how well they keep use warm come winter time. They are good quality. My daughter usually throws off blankets and comforters every time she is sleeping. When I check on her while she sleeps, this comforter is on her. I do not like to be hot when I sleep and this comforter keeps me cool. This is a great product. This product matches exactly as it was advertised as ! It is soft, but temperature regulated soft , not over whelming trapped in heat type soft where you can start to sweat. It is lightweight compared to a feather stuffed or heavy down alternative weight , but not so light weight it feels like a sheet or throw blanket . The design is classic and simple . Its perfect for my allergies and asthma as it does not trigger either . Its easy to wash being lightweight as it is . I use this with just sheets and it keeps me warm enough at night ! Im super picky when it comes to my bedding where I because extensively research products until I find the right fit . I get very hot at night and am very sensitive to fabrics touch and temperature . I suffer from insomnia so the perfect bedding is a must and this met all my needs ! ... show more

My husband and I are usually fighting over the covers. But not with this over sized comforter. It’s perfect. It’s the perfect weight. It’s nice and big and it hangs over both sides of the bed giving us plenty of cover on both sides. I will be buying another one and I’m buying them as gifts in the future. It keeps u warm in the winter but not hot and it keeps u cool I’m the summer. Perfect!!! ... show more

I give this a solid 3-stars because I don't love or hate this product, maybe a 3.5 stars because there are more positives than negatives. LOVE: 1) The price is great. 2) The pinch pleat looks great & it comes with matching pillow cases. 3) The oversized size is nice so I don't need any annoying bed skirts - you know cuz making the bed is a pain when you tuck in the sheets, then you have to mess with fixing the bed skirts. The oversized size is big enough to hide your bed frame edges. 4) It's lightweight, soft, and fluffy. Obviously, my kitty gives it a higher rating. 5) It's very warm. It's been cozy for the winter nights. DON'T LOVE: 1) The fabric is... slippery. That's the best way I can describe it. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right when you sit on the edge of the bed to put your shoes on, you slide. I have to throw myself deeper onto the bed onto the bed if I need to sit on the edge so my butt doesn't slide off. It's weird. My adult kids even noticed it... without me even mentioning anything about it. I prefer cotton comforters 100% over this material. 2) It's very warm. This is a plus in the winter, but it comes off in the summer. It's way too warm. I had no issues with washing this product myself. I have a large capacity washing machine so it fits. And, yes, I took the chance of putting it in the dryer, on a low setting because I don't have a clothesline and this thing is huge (did I mention it's oversized?) so I don't have any where to lay it flat while it's sopping wet. I'm certainly not going to put it on my bed all wet. I only dried it enough to get most of the moisture out, then I let it air-dry the rest of the way by draping it over my living room furniture to make sure air can get under it to circulate and dry properly and not get moldy. The fill didn't get all lumpy like some of the other reviewers stated. I think the key is too dry it on low heat. It comes out nice and soft and fluffy. So there you have it. If you're looking for something that is functional, looks great, and a good deal, this is the one. Don't expect luxury-feel comforter though, you're not paying a luxury price. ... show more

This comforter is SO nice. It totally feels like feathers. It isn't heavy and isn't killer hot. It is white so I put it inside a duvet cover. It is not tied, yet has totally stayed put. I take it that it is the microfiber as to why. And it is quilted, so the filling stays as well. If I ever need another comforter, I will most surely purchase another. I am so picky when it comes to comforters. When I washed it and put it on my King bed, It could not have been any better. I got the largest size. A regular king would have been a little short so go for the bigger size. I will never go back to down or down alternative. This is perfect.
