Because of the "gathered" 2 or 3 inch band under the v neck and the gathered skirt, it was not flattering for me. It just seemed like there was a lot of extra fabric. I absolutely love this dress. I am a plus size girl who was busty even when i was thin. I typically wear a 2X women’s top. I ordered this dress in a 3X and the fit is amazing. it doesn’t gape in the front the V isn’t too low/deep so it just looks classy. Only downfall is I’m 5’2” so I will be hemming it by a few inches -otherwise it is perfect!

I am 5' 4" and 119 lbs. The small fit me perfectly. I wore with 2.5" heels. Great not needing shape wear in 90 degree heat. I washed on regular permanent press cold cycle and hung to dry. The color was not see through, maybe a bit clingy. I would definitely buy again in another color.
