My 2 and a half year old son just loves this set. The toys are great. Awesome colors. A good variety. The book is great. I love that it’s a board book. And he loves the sounds. I don’t even mind that the second and third buttons seem to be swapped. But, the batteries died after two days. Two days. He wasn’t even home for one of the days. So, one day of use and I have to purchase batteries for it. It came plastic wrapped with the battery tab in place. So that wasn’t an issue. I actually just hope it’s the batteries. I’ll find out after I buy more. For now, he is mad at me that it’s not working. *UPDATE* Unfortunately, it wasn’t the batteries. It’s the book. Two days of ownership and only one day of use and the book no longer works. Super disappointing. *SECOND UPDATE* raised the stars. I initiated a return for the set and they sent me a new one before I even sent it in. Book is still going strong months later. Carries at least two of the dinosaurs with him everywhere. Even in the shower. My first book just must’ve been a dud. Love it! 4 stars just because now he notices the second and third buttons are swapped. ... show more

I bought this product for a 2 1/2 year old who already has a love of dinosaurs and he was thrilled. On line the dinos looked pretty small but they were larger than I expected. This little boy was able to identify at least six by name. He really liked the book that allowed him to hear their roars, which he is already imitating.
