Here to address some of the concerns I had before purchasing based on other reviews. TL;DR: This is a great, budget-friendly paint by numbers. Buy it! - Creases - It DOES come with creases. I flipped it over and ironed them out (high heat, low steam). Took me about 1 minute. Looks great. - Paint quality - It's a little thick, but if you're using a wet brush it works just fine. There's also PLENTY of paint, which is nice. Not going to run out on those bigger areas. - Readability - The numbers are small but very readable on the canvas. It also comes with a sheet of paper with all the numbers in case you paint a section and then want to consult the original lines. I'd buy it again! Might even gift one to someone. ... show more

Lots of small lines and details means you'll probably spend a bit more time, but the big spaces are easy and quick to fill. There's surprisingly enough paint for everything including the background, and when it feels a bit stiff I add a touch of water and mix into the paint and it slides no issue. The background is more of a pale pink than a beige as per the picture, but looks generally the same otherwise. Another small annoyance is that some of the smaller areas either don't have numbers on the accompanying paper, or are illegible making it a bit of a guessing fame as to which colour you add. This paint by number was a nice relaxing activity. It took me about 2 months to finish, I worked on it at least 3x a week for about an hour at a time. Some of the lighter colors need to be done more than once to cover the number. Paint brushes aren't the best quality and started to break down halfway. I had my own brushes I used for part of it. There is plenty of paint for each color. Some areas had missing numbers or were hard to tell which number it should be but I was able to guess well enough. ... show more

During the pandemic, paint by number projects have provided a new and satisfying hobby. I'm usually looking for something interesting, colorful, and ideally evocative of a nice memory. This painting is something different from the norm and reminds us of a trip to Amsterdam several years ago. Yes, the numbers are small and I probably couldn't have done it well without the magnifying lamp I use for painting by number. What I dislike: 1) the numbers are hard to read. the sections to pain are so small they mix with other sections sometimes. 2) the sections are small. pretty difficult to paint with provided brushes and in general. the sections are so detailed, the painting would need to be blown up more to make it easier to paint or simplified. 3) a couple sections were missing numbers so i had to paint what i felt. 4) some paints were streaky because the canvas is rough. What I like: 1) the aesthetic of the painting is beautiful. 2) if you can look past the flaws, it is an intricate painting to keep you busy. 3) they give extra paint on some of the numbers that need it. 4) this is something you can hang up because it’s so pretty. Overall: It can be a little frustrating but if you are looking more for a project than a peaceful painting, I think this is fitting. The flaws make me hesitate to pick it back up but the more it comes along, it’s really beautiful, so eh. Worth it since I want to put it up! ... show more

This was my first paint by number kit since I was a kid. It was so fun and relaxing! I have difficulty shutting my brain off (especially after a workday) this paint by number helped me do just that. It’s the first time in a long while that I was able to stop overthinking and focus - a great break for the brain and I got a pretty snazzy painting out of it to boot. It is a folded canvas so there are creases but I taped it tautly with painters tape to a 16x20 blank canvas I had and that worked really well, very quickly the creases started flattening out and by the time I was finished painting the creases were gone. The majority of the paint was very nice to use, smooth and there was a sufficient quantity. There was one color that was thicker, stickier, and with a more potent aroma than the others. Those characteristics made it a little more difficult to paint with but it wasn’t a high use color so it wasn’t too bad. Overall a great buy. I’m very happy with the quality of the experience and the final painting. ... show more
