The toy is ok, not great. Gets my baby engaged for 5 min max on a car ride. He doesn’t care about the strings, only about the buttons. But it’s just a phase of pressing buttons now. It’s not a Montessori you because it has 3 activities on it’s the strings are annoying when the baby is busy with the buttons. I would suggest to buy a separate toy for each activity to keep the baby more involved. The strings are not very impressive, do not make much of the sound. ... show more

    • This unusual toy works for baby as soon as he/she can begin to grip and pull with hands.

This was xmas gift for our grandson. The description says 18+ month old. He is 6 month old this xmas, and has begun to grip and pull things with one hand. And began doing so right away with this toy and seems to like it. One of us has to hold the body of the toy while he grips a string ending and pulls. He was fascinated. As he grows, practice with this toy is obviously going to help him learn to grip and pull objects better, and eventually to use 2 hands. Of course it goes in his mouth, every toy is going in his mouth and getting a 'chew test'. It seems to be safe, though as with all toys I think they need supervised play to insure the toy doesn't come apart and a small broken off piece go down the throat. E.g. got to watch none of the end pieces on the strings breaks off and becomes a hazard. ... show more

Our baby thinks it’s very interesting to look at! She is 6 months old and loves putting all of the different things in her mouth and chewing!! We also love that they all make different sounds when you pull them through! It’s easy to clean, I just put it in a bowl of warm soapy water and it gets everything good! So far we love it! Can’t say how durable it is because we’ve only had it maybe a week but so far I would recommend for a toy to keep baby busy in high chair, car seat, changing diaper, or just sitting in your lap ... show more
