I like this beach chair a lot! Has some good storage compartments for water bottle, phone and snacks. It also has a cooler/storage in the back of the chair as well. My only issues are that for some reason when you buy the single it has to come with the bar that your legs sit on, which does get sore after a while. I put a towel in that area which helps but still. Not sure why when you buy the 2 pack you can get the sling style but with the single you have to have the bar. The pillow is nice as well but uses velcro to keep it connected. I foresee after lots of use this becoming a problem on holding up. All in all though, is a good beach chair and do recommend. ... show more

This chair is great! I was looking for a backpack beach chair at a time in the middle of the summer and couldn't find any.. anywhere! Everyone seemed to be sold out online and even in local stores. Finally, a month later this one was available and for a reasonable price compared to others that came back in stock. It's a little bigger than expected which makes it a bit bulky to carry -- it's wide on the sides and hits the back of my legs when walking.. even with the straps tightened.. and I'm 5'8" .. it definitely squeeks a bit when settling into it or moving around while sitting but maybe it just needs to be broken in more. I love all the pockets.. there is one on the back for a small towel or sandles and pockets on the side that are convenient for a phone and other loose items. I get a lot of compliments on it and like the design too.. plus it stands out from the plethora of all the lookalike Tommy Bahama chairs out there! And it's definitely comfortable sitting in for long periods of time! ... show more

This chair is very well made and I love the front zippered large pocket. The chair reclines about about 3/4's and is not intended to lay flat. It has a mesh side pocket for a drink and another small pocket. I am a retired Senior lady and I can easily slink this over my shoulders to carry and leave my hands free. I use this chair about 5 days a week and it is holding up very well. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

I was hoping to like and get a lot of use from this chair. I bought it on July 3rd, used it once on July 10 and once on July 11. One of the backpack stamps is already broken. I was hoping the quality would be better than it actually is.

I LOVE this beach chair. Comfortable to sit in, super sturdy, and it adjusts nicely for laying back. One thing to note: the fabric does not let water leak through, it just pools in the seat. So if you have a wet suit (or a 3 year old who is constantly throwing water on you), you have to get up and tip the chair to get the puddle of water out of the seat. ... show more

Ever notice how terrible it is to have a crappy beach chair??? And the wonderful difference a good beach chair makes??????? These chairs are sturdy, compact, and SO comfortable. The head rest and side pockets are 10/10. Worth the price. We take these to the beach and dog park, and have even had friends ask to take them to the beach. I must have looked at close to a hundred chairs before purchasing these based on quality and price, and they didn't disappoint! ... show more

very comfortable, love the head rest and the adjustable settings. The only con I would say is it says there is a drink holder, but it is only big enough to hold a small water bottle, it will not hold cans or anything else.

    • Solid product - could use small design improvements
Good chairs, very similar to the Tommy Bahama chairs that our friends had. We knew these did not lie flat like the TB ones but that would be a nice addition. Also, we got these because the seat is a sling instead of the frame on the front of the seat. Really liked that, but we still hit our bums on the cross brace (and we're not that heavy). We saw some other chairs where the cross brace actually angled down to the bottom leg and back up so that the sling seat didn't come close to hitting the cross brace. Regardless, this is a good chair and worked well for us at the beach for a week. Liked the headrest and the backpack straps. Very light and easy to carry. If they would angle the cross brace I would rate a 5. If they added the feature to lie flat I would rate 5+. ... show more
