I would have given a full 5 stars but putting it together with the directions given was definitely frustrating and it still kind of separated at the bottom. We had to actually use extra screws from the store and a power tool to make it more sturdy in the end. Also used a power tool for the putting it together because just using the tool it came with would have taken so much more time and frustration. Literally up until the last few directions we thought it was never going to hold up. It was almost impossible to put it together with one person and parts kept sliding and falling and just not working. But, once we got it together it actually is a very nice table with added storage and is a nice size when you have a smaller space. Nice color as well. ... show more

Color was exactly what I wanted and as pictured. Assembly took me about 2 hours and ended up needing my neighbor to help with putting the top. Didn't use power tools until I screwed the hinges to the base, which was difficult in itself due to the space/angle you have to get to them with the screwdriver. The table seems study once assembled and my only other complaint would be needing two hands to put the top up or down and mine is especially stiff when going down (hopefully that changes some with use). ... show more

It was a nice table but 2 of the holes were drilled in the wrong spot so not very study until I fixed it my self and now it's fine with two extra huge holes on the inside.

It was pretty hard to put together by my boyfriend who is in construction so he knows how to assemble things. We had to go out and get some super glue and L brackets, just to make it more secure. We lost 1 dowel and had to go buy more too. Overall, I really like it. My only problem is the top is easy to open but kinda hard to close without the whole table moving. But I'm hoping with more use, it will loosen up a bit. There's good storage space for a few blankets under the top so they're not just hanging around the couch. ... show more

This is one solid piece of furniture. It can help to have two people to assemble it but I assembled it myself in about 45 minutes with breaks. Very solid, lovely wood grain laminate. Lots of storage under the top. Definitely one of the best purchases I've made off Amazon. 5/5

Now that the table is put together, I do like it but it was very difficult to put together. I do wish it was a tiny bit sturdier but so far it is holding up very nicely. I do really like this table and the top opening is definitely worth buying for some extra storage in the living room.
