These bags are PERFECT for clothing/storage. I wanted something specifically for the clothes that my baby was outgrowing and these were the perfect find! They fit so many clothes and the zipper is fairly durable. I also love that they are rectangular with straps on either end which makes for easy access to/from storage! Just got these and I agree that they have a bit of a smell to them. The smell is the same as the plastic smell from pool inflatables. As someone who gets migraines easily from fragrances, I don't think these smell too strong, but I am currently airing them out as someone else suggested. I took one star off for the smell, otherwise, they seem pretty sturdy and I think they will be good for organizing my yarn, clothes, and comforters.

Finally used the storage bags they are great. Saws several folks complained about the odor, come on now, simple remady. I opened them, turned inside out and gave them a couple of days to loose the smell, all gone. That is not a problem. As for the rest of the use, it's great, very strong, and no problems, just the right size. Would definietly buy more for storage.

Loves these. I've purchased the 60L and they are way too big for me. I'd rather have more of the smaller size for my purposes. Yes, they smell at first but what do you expect from polyvinylcholride? Lavender? The smell fades so no worries. A 40L bag holds 10x10 tarp, 2 queen size wool blankets, and a queen thermal pad (fall-winter camping supplies). There is still room for additional items to pack on the sides. They stack nicely on top of one another if you have structure (like small plastic boxes in them - water proof matches, compass, fishing magnet, etc). If packed with all soft items they fall over. Could be cheaper for what you get though.
