These were a good replacement for my hurricane-damaged shutters, look great, but are pricy. Check their website first for tips on how they should frame your windows (spacing, etc.), then measure carefully. They are very light, easy to handle, but it helps to have some assistance to steady shutters well drilling holes. The plastic screws (fasteners) work well, but make sure your pilot holes are the full length of the screws. If you have to remove a screw to re-drill, it's easy to damage it. So don't tighten completely until all screws are in place and shutter is in correct position. ... show more

My house needed a cheap makeover so we bought another set from Wayfair that were called Bedford blue for the front of the house. They only came in 15” w so I had to find something comparable did the back that still matched the color well. These worked almost perfectly. My neighbor put some of these on his house and was happy, so i gave them a try. The shutters are made well and easy to install. Shipping was fast and service was excellent when I received one of the shutters with 4 less fasteners than it was supposed to have. The shutters matched my existing ones exactly in size and detail. I got the paintable ones and they took latex paint pretty well. Two coats covered fine with no prep. Mounting on vinyl siding was very easy with the included fasteners. Cost me $260 for 3 pair but you get what you pay for.
