I recently discovered, after not wearing heels for 10 years that I miss them. So, I ditched a few tired pair that have been collecting closet dust and decided to then replace them with a crisper look. My favorite pair were my beige wedges. And I would have kept them but the heel was almost 3”; way too high for me now. The delivery was exactly as stated. Perfect! The construction of the shoe is solid. Very well made with quality materials; all man made of course. The footbed, while not having much of an arch support is comfortable; I can add the adhesive arches that I purchased from Amazon. The toe box on the 6.5W is perfect. I have bunions…yuk, it’s even gross to say. But yes, after a career wearing heels, the metatarsal bones have rebelled in protest. So now I order Wide fit in dress shoes. These shoes give me ample room and my toes can wiggle freely; no strangling of the bunions. The heel is 2 1/8”; the perfect height as not to push my toes forward into the front of the shoe or put pressure on my knees. The heel cup fits comfortably around my heel and there’s no slippage as I walk. So, no pain in the toes, no pain on the bunions, no pain in the knees, no blisters on my heels. And because the bottom of the shoe is rubberized there’s no slipping walking across smooth surfaces. I order the stone color and it’s darker than a beige but can still be worn as a compatible color. Everything said, I’m going to order the same but in black. 👍🏼

Is too long but i dont think you can size down since the wide is normal for my size but the lo g is almost 1 inch longer than normal.

These shoes are amazing! I wore them for a semi formal event where I was standing/walking/ and dancing for well over 4 hours without any sitting breaks. I didn't feel a twinge of discomfort until the last 15 minutes or so. I don't wear heels ever so it was like a miracle. I have quite wide feet and the wide width was perfect for me so if you have narrow feet that may be a concern. The height of the heel was just a slight rise up so that really helped keep me steady despite my lack of practice on heels. I can't speak to how they will hold up in the fullness of time, but I can say they still look brand new despite the long first test. My hopes are high.

I did not like how these shoes showed a bit of toe cleavage. I usually wear an 8.5, but often can wear an 8. Given the reviews, I ordered an 8. The shoe did not feel too tight, but it did not look good with the visible toes. I will note that they are all man-made materials, so vegan-friendly, instead of leather like the product description says (see photo of tag)

I've been buying LifeStride shoes for many years. This pair does not even feel like the others. They are too large. They have been stretched out to the point that they hardly fit. I bought them before school started, and now it is too late for me to return them. I won't be buying this brand online anymore.

I like the look. I liked the soles and inside cushion. However the back part came up too high that it pushed up against my ankle bone. They may work for you, but not for my ankle bone.
