I will add photos tomorrow. The front top of calf is tight. Rear of top part of calf is tight. The left and right of top calf are loose. When I stand, it's pretty comfortable. Sitting with one leg crossed at the knee so comfortable. Both legs crossed at the ankle is painful. One leg across the top of the knee is painful. Sitting with legs together and leaning forward, painful at top rear of calf. The vinyl digs into the back of my knee. I'm 5ft 0 inches 156lbs long torso, pear shaped, short legs. My calf measures 15.5 inches at the widest part halfway down the back of my calf. Ankle to bottom of knee, my calf is about 16 inches long. I'm a 6.5W in almost all shoes. The toe of these is pretty snug even without socks. My feet aren't swollen or heavy, and I'd say these shoes are not very wide in the foot area. My toes have enough space so I'd say the length is correct. The arch is ok but not much support. There is thin moleskin in the heel and sole area. I wore these with shorts and no socks today for about an hour and seemed ok. No blisters. Again, walking is fine but sitting is uncomfortable. Tomorrow I will try these with thin socks and pants. I think the top calf area will be more comfortable with pants on. Due to the low price I'll probably keep these but probably won't order another pair from this brand. I have had Merona boots that were similar price and more comfortable. Edit: I got one-inch heel raiser inserts and the problem is solved. I wear these with thick socks around the house/yard for a few hours on humid days to stretch them out. Short people, you need heel raisers. :-) ... show more

Well I am pretty annoyed. I purchased this pair of boots size 6 and 1/2 medium. Nowadays, you have to specify whether you have a medium foot or not. What is happening to America? None the less, I waited two weeks to receive this pair of boots and to my surprise they came wide calf. I have permanent damage from a broken ankle and rely on wearing boots daily. I really really need it a black pair of boots. Never again will I order shoes from Amazon. ... show more

These boots were made for walkin’! I am on my feet a lot through the day going to the copy room and such. I chose these specifically because they can accommodate big calves. There is elastic panels in the back so they really give lots of stretch. The boots look great and shiny and I have not had any trouble with the zippers after wearing for an entire winter. ... show more

Love these boots! I have a black and brown pair size 7 and they fit perfect. I have big calves and the wide calf fit with room to spare for skinny jeans or stretchy pants. I've gotten compliments on them and the price is right.

    • Not wide calf
I ordered wide calf and I couldn't get the zipper to g higher than just above the ankle. My daughter has small calf's and she said it was a tight fit, but she got the zipper up.

I have been looking for a pair of wide calf boots and I really liked this style. I ordered one size larger than I normally wear. The foot part fit well. The calf was too small. I could zip them but barely. My calves are 18 inches. The boots were very stiff and not comfortable in the ankle area. They look cheap. I am returning these. ... show more

Boot was too tight in the ankle. It was a wide calf boot and was a bit roomy in the calf for the way I like it.
